After a short drive to the trailhead, your trek takes you through the lush rainforest. This day offers an easy introduction, covering a distance of approximately 6 kilometers. Your first overnight stop is at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp, situated at an elevation of about 2,750 meters.

5.00I booked a hike to Mount Kilimanjaro (Uhuru Peak) with this company. I was traveling with my three brothers and my 70 year old father. Given his age, we were all worried we would not be able to make it to the top. William assigned us just the right guide to make it happen. All of the staff was outstanding from day one and dedicated to making our journey unforgettable. Our guide (Antipas) suggested some key adjustments to our initial itinerary and took every step possible to ensure our success. The equipment and the food was also amazing. Our experience was so good that we ended up booking a Safari tour with Spirit and it was as great and the trekking experience. I could not recommend more to book your travel with Spirit of Kilimanjaro

5.00We climbed Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho road in 8 days (7 days) and a 4-day safari in 3 national parks at the end of September - beginning of October. We had the privilege of experiencing both an ascent of Kilimanjaro and a safari with Spirit of Kilimanjaro, and it was simply extraordinary! From start to finish, their team has shown exceptional professionalism, expertise and caring. The guides were incredibly competent and always attentive, ensuring that we were safe and well prepared at every stage of the ascent. The porters worked tirelessly, with a smile, to make our trip comfortable, and their dedication was truly inspiring. The warmth and kindness of the whole team made the experience unforgettable. The meals offered were exceptional, far beyond what we had imagined for this type of adventure! Each meal was carefully prepared, delicious, and gave us the energy needed for the demanding trek, especially on the mountain! The attention to detail of the Spirit of Kilimanjaro team, combined with the compassion and skill of their staff, made this experience one of the best of our lives. 5.00Memorable ascent of Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho route in 7 days thanks to an incredible team led by our 2 super guides Joseph and Zac! Despite their difficult work, the porters always smiled and brought a lot of good humor to the camp. The cook has cooked us very good dishes every day with fresh produce. Thank you for their smiles, their advice, their motivation! Without them we would never have made it! These people are amazing!

5.00Our adventure with spirit of Kili was really amazing. We successfully reach the summit thanks to the incredible guides Joseph and Swahele in august 2024 via the Machame route in 7 days. All was very well organized (and the food very good) and we had to take care of nothing. Asante Sana again for the crew we had the chance to know and be helped with. With no doubt, reach the summit with spirit of Kilimandjaro. Pauline and Julien.
