You start in a rainforest with monkeys and end up next to glaciers. The Lemosho route is definitely the most scenic way up. Doing it over 8 days means you aren't rushing through the best parts. The Barranco Wall was a blast—don't let the photos scare you! The crew made sure we had hot tea and snacks ready the second we walked into camp every afternoon. I suggest this trek for any adventure lover.

I’ve done a lot of trekking, and the Burigi Chato crew is as good as they come. Our tents were high quality and the sleeping mats were actually thick enough to sleep on. On a long 8-day trek, those little things matter. The Lemosho route is a bit of a drive to get to, but it means you see parts of the mountain that most tourists miss. Totally worth the extra time

Summit night is a beast. You start in the dark, it’s freezing, and the air is thin. But because we had 8 days on the mountain, our blood oxygen levels were solid. The Kiliclimb guides were right there with us, singing and pushing us through the last few meters to the sign. Burigi Chato Safaris runs a very professional operation. Everything from the briefing in Moshi to the final ceremony was top-tier.

Glad I didn't do 6! Review: I almost booked a shorter trip, but I’m so glad I went with the 8-day Lemosho route. That extra time for my body to catch up with the altitude made the summit night actually manageable. Burigi Chato Safaris has this down to a science. The first few days through the forest were super chill, and by the time we hit the Barranco Wall, our group was like a little family. If you want to actually enjoy the trek instead of just suffering through it, this is the way to go.

I did the 8 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Group Joining Tour via the Lemosho Route with Burigi Chato Safaris and it was an unforgettable adventure. The 8 day itinerary Kilimanjaro climb was well arranged from day one, giving us enough time to rest and adjust to altitude. The Lemosho route is very beautiful and quiet, passing through forest, moorland and open views, I really enjoyed every day. The guides from Burigi Chato Safaris were friendly, patient and very supportive. One thing I appreciated most is how the 8 day itinerary Kilimanjaro climb helped with acclimatization. On the Lemosho route you don’t feel rushed, and the guides kept reminding us to go pole pole. The food was good and filling, even near the summit camps. Tents were clean and the porters worked extremely hard. Summit night was very challenging but the team encouraged us step by step until we reached the top. I recommend Burigi Chato Safaris for anyone planning the 8 day itinerary Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho route. There were some tough moments like cold weather and long hiking days, but that is normal for Kilimanjaro. Overall the organization, safety and care from the team made this trip successful and memorable. I would definitely choose the Lemosho route and Burigi Chato Safaris again.

I had an incredible experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on the 8-day Lemosho Route with Burigi Chato Safari, and I can confidently say it was one of the best adventures of my life. From the first day, the team was professional, well-organized, and genuinely caring. The Lemosho Route was absolutely stunning, with diverse landscapes, fewer crowds, and excellent acclimatization, which really helped me reach the summit successfully. Our guides were outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, especially on summit night. They constantly monitored our health, motivated us when the climb became tough, and made safety their top priority. The porters and camp crew were equally amazing, always greeting us with smiles, setting up camp efficiently, and making sure we were comfortable every day. The food exceeded my expectations for a mountain climb—hot, nutritious, and plentiful, which made a big difference during long hiking days. Reaching Uhuru Peak was an emotional and unforgettable moment, made possible by the dedication and teamwork of Burigi Chato Safari. I truly felt looked after from start to finish. I highly recommend Burigi Chato Safari to anyone planning a Kilimanjaro climb, especially via the Lemosho Route. If you’re looking for a trustworthy company that delivers an authentic, safe, and memorable experience, this is the one.

I really can't recommend the 8 day Lemosho route with Burigi Chato Safaris enough if your looking to actually enjoy your climb instead of just suffering the whole time. The 8 day schedule is a total game changer because it gives you that extra time to get used to the thin air. We spent the first few days hiking through the beautiful rainforest (saw some Colobus monkeys!) and then onto the Shira Plateau which has the most insane views of Kibo. Because the hike is spread over 8 days, the daily distances dont feel too crazy, so you actually have energy to hang out in the mess tent and talk to your group instead of just collapsing in your sleeping bag. Hiking Kilimanjaro is way more mental than I thought, but the Burigi Chato crew makes it so much easier. The guides are constantly checking on you and the porters are like magic—they literally run up the mountain with all the gear and still have enough energy to sing and dance when you get to camp. The Barranco Wall was probably my favorite part, it looks like a vertical cliff from far away but its actually just a fun scramble and the view from the top is worth every bit of sweat. Summit night is still a blur because it was so cold and dark, but reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was the most emotional thing ever. If your worried about the altitude, definitely go with the 8 day option, it makes the success rate way higher and the scenery on Lemosho is definitely the best on the mountain. Just make sure you bring good broken-in boots and lots of layers for the summit!

We joined the 8-day Kilimanjaro group climb via the Lemosho Route with Burigi Chato Safaris and had a great experience. Everything was well organised from start to finish, and the pace of the itinerary worked really well for acclimatisation. The guides were professional, experienced, and supportive throughout the climb, especially on summit night. Safety was clearly a priority, with regular health checks and steady guidance. The porters and camp crew were hardworking and friendly, and the meals were consistently good, even at higher altitude. Reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was an unforgettable highlight and a credit to the whole team’s effort. We would happily recommend Burigi Chato Safaris to anyone planning a Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route.
