To the north-west of Slovenia is located National Park Triglav, which cover most of the Julian Alps. This is where is Waterfall Savica and Lake Bohinj are located. Lake Bled is just around thirty minutes away from National Park Triglav. If Your short on time, this experience is great way to explore this sights. Visit Waterfall Savica, Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. Hike to 836m above sea level to reach Waterfall Savica(around twenty five minutes hike). Do short walk and hikes at Lake Bohinj, take picture of golden-horn statue, four brave man statue and visit Church of St. John the Baptist. Travel with Plenta boat, visit the Lake Bled Castle, hike to Mala Osojnica.

Note: There is approximately three hours of traveling to the National Park and back to Ljubljana, an hour will be spent on the lunch break.

What To Expect

Waterfall Savica

After meeting at Dragon Bridge, we are going to Waterfall Savica, it takes around one hour thirty minutes to get to Waterfall Savica. There is a hike around twenty five minutes long, medium level. After taking pictures of Waterfall Savica, there is twenty minutes walk to get back to parking area. Note: The travel time to get from one place to the other is approximately 3 hours. Also, an hour will be spent on the lunch break.

Lake Bohinj

After Waterfall Savica we are going visit Lake Bohinj, it take around fifteen minutes to reach Lake Bohinj. At Lake Bohinj You can visit Church of St. John the Baptist, take pictures of mountain goat (the golden horn), take pictures of Lake Bohinj, do small hikes and walk around lake.

The tour was great, visits to the waterfall and both lakes are definitively worth it and I would highly recommend it. I liked the format of the tour, in smaller groups, and our tour guide was great.

Flexible and relaxed tour. Guide was knowledgeable, humorous and flexible. Easy walk to water fall, great local and generous lunch, walk to look out over Lake Bled was challenging enough and the row boats completed a fantastic day. Would definitely recommend.

I wanted to visit lake Bled and Bohinj and this tour was perfect for that. The pick-up location was central and easy to find the tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. There was plenty of time at lake bled to walk around the lake and enjoy an ice cream halfway through. The lunch stop was a local restaurant (optional) and the tour guide reserved a table for everyone who wanted to join. As a solo traveller this was really nice and the group was not too large which was also nice.

Loved our guide Matthieu and all the people we met on this excursion. It was an overcast day but luckily the rain held off. Bled was beautiful, don’t be scared off by people saying it’s too touristy. If it were sunny it would be magical. Be prepared that the walk around the lake can take nearly 2 hours, particularly if you stop to take in views or go for a swim! Waterfall and Lake Bohinj were great too. I’d only like to have had even more time at each location but as is we were out for nearly 9 hours.

Great day. Travel not as long as thought. 1hr20min to waterfall then rest of stops on the way back. Milo was helpful clear and a safe driver. So glad we booked.

Small group tour and Milos was very accommodating. Had enough time to explore all destinations and even had time for a sit down lunch. I highly recommend this tour!
