Explore the spectacular coastline from Port Arthur Historic Site to Cape Raoul.
With soaring sea cliffs and monumental rock formations, the Tasman National Park is a coastal wonderland. Here the waters of the Tasman Sea collide with the towering ancient cliffs of the Tasman Peninsula, creating dramatic caves and arches, ending spectacularly at Cape Raoul, its dolerite columns like steps down into the ocean waters.
The 90 minute wilderness cruise goes beyond the Port Arthur Historic Site to take in the cliffs, caves, arches and white sand beaches of the Tasman Peninsula to Cape Raoul. Cruise past significant historical sites like Point Puer and Isle of the Dead before marvelling at the gorgeous white sands of Safety Cove, and the tall dunes of Crescent Bay. Mt Brown provides a stunning backdrop as we cruise to Cape Raoul. Keep an eye out for the cheeky Australia fur seals that lounge at the base of the Cape Raoul.

The cruise to Cape Raoul was fabulous. The boat was very comfortable and very safe. The scenery was out of this world, the rock pillars at the Cape have to be seen to be believed. We saw two varieties of seal and numerous dolphins. The crew were fantastic.. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Port Arthur historic site, where we spent several hours exploring the buildings and learning about the lives of the convicts and others who lived there.

Really beautiful cruise out to see gorgeous sea cliffs on a large ship with a professional and knowledgeable crew. There is definitely a lot of rocking as the boat motors over swells but it’s a lot of fun and I did not feel sick at all standing at the back of the ship with the wind at my face.

Booked this for my best friend’s birthday trip and thank both of the tour guys for the amazing Cape Rapul Cruise tour. Both are very knowledgeable and have a good sense of humour. I think there names were Drew and Louis (Very sorry if that’s wrong). Highly recommend! P.S Make sure you eat before the cruise in case you get sea sickness but they do provide ginger ale tablets to reduce it.

We booked it out of whim and it was so fantastic, I am glad we went for it. We all loved the experience!! Friendly staff and boat captain, such a nice view that you don't want to miss. One thing I was bit confused was the sign on the entrance of historic site. It says pre purchased ticket and arrow for downstairs, but don't go to down stairs. You have to talk to the ticket office and get the pysical tickets from them. It would be nice if tickets are emailed so you don't have to wait in the line. (Nearly missed boat!) The cruise was amazing, we see some fantastic features along the rocks, seals sun bathing and beautiful bird life. Definitely take a jacket with you, it gets really cold with chill winds. Thank you!!

This experience was amazing. We were so lucky with the weather and not too much swell. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We were in awe of the large cliff faces and the sheer grandness of all that we got to see. Highly rate this experience and this one was a highlight of our trip. Definitely recommend.

The captain was very knowledgable about the area and conveyed information in a friendly manner. He was also able to tick off a bucket list moment for my husband which made our holiday. The rocks and caves of the area are absolutely gorgeous. An absolute must cruise to take if you are in the area.
