What To Expect
Our Prague Castle tour will be about the history of this ancient royal site which has been the seat of the Czech kings and Holy Roman emperors. Since 1918 the castle has been the residence of the President of the Czech Republic the country formerly known as Czechoslovakia. During our tour we will explore one of the largest castle complexes in the world with its magnificent historical interiors. We will go inside St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, Golden Lane and the Prague Royal Gardens. We will take photos of today's residence of the Czech president and touch the windows of the royal palace, namely those from which the 30-year war in Europe. We will visit the Golden Lane where, according to legend, alchemists from the Middle Ages tried to create gold and the Philosopher's Stone for Emperor Rudolph II. I will tell the stories about the very unique collection in the treasury of the St.Vitus Cathedral and, from the Prague Castle, we will admire a beautiful view of Prague. This tour will help you learn the intriguing history of the Czech lands and medieval Europe and therefore find the key to a deeper understanding of this land and these people.

5.00Tatiana was delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our well planned tour. She is so educated on everything - how she has such recall who knows. We saw so many must see sites, and she included hidden gems that are not typical tourist agenda items. A real pleasure, we highly recommend taking this opportunity when you visit Prague.

5.00I appreciated the beauty and history of Prague Castle, particularly St. Vitus Cathederal and the story behind the execution of St. Vitus. A memorable light into human behavior. Ms. Gordeeva, the Tour Guide, was extremly knowledgeable and very accomodating and gracious through the entire tour. I will be eager to enjoy other tours with her guidance.
