Is a breathtaking experience. The experience of climbing the Acatenango Volcano in a 4x4 transforms one of the most difficult hikes in Central America into an accessible and adrenaline-filled adventure, ideal for those seeking spectacular views with the less possible physical effort.

The vehicles reach an approximate elevation of 3,400 meters above sea level after about 45-50 minutes of off-road driving.

Once at the top, there is only a short 45-60 minute walk along relatively flat trails to reach the base camps.

Best time: November to April (dry season) to ensure clear skies and full visibility of the crater.

Finally departure to Acatenango Volcano. Will arrive to the place to start climbing with the 4 x 4.
