Prakash from Adam’s Peak Tours will take you on a true local adventure. Having lived here all his life he knows the best secret spots. There is more to experience than the early morning walk to Adam’s Peak - although this can be arranged if you want to hike the mountain for an amazing view. There are magnificent waterfalls that surround the lake near Nallathanniya. Walk through the tea plantations to reach the Mohini Falls (about one hour) to take a refreshing swim. Tuk tuk service can also be provided.

We booked a trip by Prakash from Adam’s Peak Tours, it took around 3 hours. When you like hiking this is the tour you should do! You hike towards a waterfall and there you can swim as well if you want to!I would recommend to combine this with Adam's peak, there is more to do here than only the mountain! For instance the tea factory, so I think it's better to stay here atleast two days, we did that as well! The guide takes lots of pictures of you! The waterfall is still a secret place, you will have it to yourself!

We enjoyed the TukTuk tour trough the tea plantations and to the waterfall very much! It’s not just a hill climbing drive to the tea plantation, it is a lovely walk through the tea and some forest as well as the sight of the spectacular Muray waterfall! The pond in which the waterfall ends is perfect for a refreshing swim. Make sure to wear proper shoes and long trousers as the walk (of approx. 25 minutes) can be a bit slippy and the path is on some spots quiet overgrown. BTW: Our kids (11 and 8 years old) enjoyed the tour as much as we did...!-) Many thanks again!

We wanted to swim in the waterfalls around Nallathanniya but couldn’t find the pathway. Adam’s peak tours took us on a walk through a tea plantation to the bottom of the biggest waterfall we’ve seen in Sri Lanka. It was incredible being that close and being able to swim in the refreshing water! Make sure you bring a backpack with some water (although we drank the mountain run off) and some snacks. Highly recommend Adam’s Peak Tours!
