Jeandre was a really experience and friendly guide. He picked us up in time at 6:15 and we drove to Addo national park for approximate 40mintues. The park opens for guests at 7:00 and we had been the first guests at the southern gate. It took a few minutes and we spotted the first kudus in the bush. Although it was a really hot day (+43 degrees celsius) we have seen a lot of animals in the park: Ostrich Black-headed heron Blacksmith Lapwing Elephant Buffalo Red Hartebeest Eland Kudu Burchell‘s Zebra Warthog Vervet monkey Flightless Dung Beatle Leopard Tortoise Butterflies Bush caterpillars Bush spiders After our lunch at the northern gate at approx. 11:30, Jeandre drove on our request additionally to an area where lions had been spotted, but unfortunately they hided in the bush. It was a really great experience and Jeandre explained everything clearly and he answered all our questions. We definitely can recommend the privat tour with Jeandre; thank you for the great day :)

Absolutely wonderful. Personal tour with a fabulous guide who gave us heaps of information and was able to answer all of our questions. Jonre was also not afraid to just drive in silence. He didn’t feel the need to speak constantly.

My family of four took a half-day guided tour of Addo Elephant National Park. We were limited to one-half day because we had arrived in Port Elizabeth late the previous afternoon, then we were flying out late the next afternoon. This was the perfect trip for the limited time that we had. Our guide, Jeandre, picked us up with his van at our apartment early in the morning. We drove to Addo Elephant National Park about an hour away. Jeandre had a very nice personality suitable to being a guide. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the park, plus he shared his knowledge about the area on the was to the park and back. We spent several hours in the comfortable van and saw a number of different animals along the way. Having Jeandre as our guide eliminated the stress of trying to figure out where the animals were and how we were going to get to them. We were returned back to our apartment in Port Elizabeth with plenty of time to make our afternoon flight. It was an excellent experience that I would certainly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the park without much time to spare.

Had a fantastic time. Jeandre, our guide, was prompt and efficient and so knowledgeable. Knew exactly where to find the best sightings and we saw more than we could have hoped for. A great day out.

Jeandre met our exhausted family at the airport in Port Elizabeth and took us to Addo, then retrieved us and returned us to the airport 3 days later. In the end, we were very sorry that we had not arranged to do more with him. He is friendly, helpful, and very, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of South Africa. If we come back, we will undoubtedly work with him as a guide to the area. As it was, however, it was so reassuring to have someone who was so good about arrangements help us with our airport transfer! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I found Jeandre on trip advisor while I was looking for a transfer from our lodge to the airport in Port Elizabeth. We were traveling with our 3 year old daughter so we wanted a child seat that Jeandre threw in the transfer for free. He was very reliable in the communication and was there to meet us on time. He was a very knowledgeable guy about South Africa and the wildlife in the area - we would for sure plan a trip with him. I strongly recommend using Addo tours and transfers for your trip to South Africa

Jeandre welcomed us on our very first visit to South Africa, picking us up from the airport at Port Elizabeth and delivering us to Kuzuko Lodge. Being new to the country, we were initially a little nervous, but he quickly put us at ease and taught us a lot about the local area. Being an ex head ranger himself, he was able to explain what to expect during our stay at Kuzuko and also point out lots of interesting wildlife on our journey. On the return trip, we booked an extended journey with him, including a tour through Addo Elephant Park, for which Jeandre was the perfect guide.

Jeandre Nothnagel gave us the best experience with transfers to and from Kuzuko Lodge. We would highly recommend Addo Tours. Safe, knowledgeable and punctual which made our trip a perfect experience. Being from overseas we had no idea of the distance from PE to the reserve. Jeandre even found time to take us to great local shopping areas and delivered us everywhere on time. Big thank you.
