What To Expect
The experience begins by boarding our all-terrain transport towards the interior of our lagoon system that has wetlands with high biological diversity, located in a protected natural area categorized as a "Biosphere Reserve", that is, it has areas that present a high degree of importance and ecological preservation at the national level. Then you will enter an unforgettable tour in the heart of the largest salt mine in the country; During our tour you will be able to appreciate the production process of sea salt by evaporation, the formation of salt crystals in the crystallization zone, and storage on a huge hill that will make you believe that you are on the surface of the moon. If your visit is during the harvest season, you will also be able to see this process where specialized machinery collects the salt. Of course, this visit would not be complete without having visited the spectacular pink waters of Las Coloradas.

5.00Our guide was very good. He had a large group of Hispanics and 3 Americans. He explained everything to each group in their own language. It was interesting and not hurried. Phone support listed on the web site were easy to understand and helpful.

5.00Excellent visit to Las Coloradas, it is almost 3 hours from Mérida but it is worth the trip, it is a landscape like no other. On our way we had very good weather and the pink colors stood out very well, enough information is provided to have a pleasant visit. Totally recommended. #ASummerInLasColoradas

5.00Super cool place to take incredible photos of nature and learn about the process to have sun salt on our table. I took the safari tour and I really liked the explanation they gave us. The bike tour also looks great, I'm keeping that in mind for the next visit. The colors of the waters are of various tones but the one I really fall in love with is the pink tone and seeing the flamingos 🦩 #ASummerInLasColoradas #SummerInColoradas

5.00We loved visiting Las Coloradas! We chose to tour them in the Safari type vehicle option, which was a great experience since we were able to appreciate the beautiful pink tones of the water from different angles, in some part the water was seen with a very cool mirror effect!…the tour is highly recommended , since in addition to appreciating the landscapes and taking photos in the incredible spots they have, during the tour they explain the process of the salt mine. The people who accompanied us on the tour were very friendly. It was a unique experience! #ASummerInLasColoradas
