Eli’s Original Eco tour is Antigua’s oldest Eco tour. We spend a full day in the North Sound of Antigua where we have 22 uninhabited pristine offshore islands. Learn about the eco systems & the history of the different islands in this protected area. Also the turtle project at Jumby Bay, the reef ball system at Maiden Island, the beautiful and important Mangrove system of Guiana Island & much more. There are two snorkeling sessions (& a snorkel lesson for those who need) a beach stop at Bird Island where you might get a chance to see one our indigenous & endangered (nonpoisonous) Antigua Racer Snake.
We also visit Hells Gate Island for a snorkel or a climb through a small cave-like structure that goes through the island & comes out over a natural bridge on top – seeing the Atlantic Ocean on one side & Caribbean Sea on the other. Local lunch and drinks are all included in the tour which is great for all ages!

As with so many things, it's the people that make these trips. Our captain, Dave, assisted by Dino and Mac, really did a great job and made sure we had an excellent excursion. The visit to Hells Bridge Island was particularly memorable; an unusual and challenging mixture of swim and walk with a bit of caving. The sturdy beach shoes provided were excellent for the job.

We took this tour on a port stop in St John. Pick up was literally steps away from the ship. . The boat usually used for this tour was having mechanical issues but instead of canceling, they repurposed one of the extreme tour boats.. and apologized multiple times that it was a bit crowded. No mon! We were all family at the end. Captain Dave Dino and Mack were great, definitely very eco focused on preserving the uniqueness of their island. A few highlights : Hell’s gate is a pretty amazing thing to see with the Atlantic Ocean crashing through the opening into the relatively calm Caribbean Sea. Bird island was beautifully wild and untouched with great snorkeling. Lots of fish and a small nurse shark. Lunch was delicious- pasta salad green salad fried plantains bbq chicken and green banana salad for us as vegetarians. Never had but it was delicious. This is the tour to take on Antigua, if we cruise here again I’d love to do the Extreme tour if we have a long enough stop. Blessings from Janet and “Tyrone”

Just back from a fab day out with Adventure Antigua Eco tour. The boat crew of Captain Dave, Dino ("oh no") and Marcus looked after myself and my wife. We spotted an Osprey catching a fish, dolphins skimming past the boat, Eagle Rays and sea turtles. Our first stop was a swim over to a small island, hike through a sea cave and then a walk along Hell's gate. I am not the strongest swimmer but I easily managed the swim over to the island and back of at most 50m. We then stopped for snorkling in a sheltered bay where I spotted a sting ray and sea turtle swimming along ahead of me - so close I could nearly reach out and touch them. We then had some lunch onboard which was excellent and drinks (non-alchol) were served all day long. We then headed over to a reef for more snorkling and I saw plenty of fishes - like being in a BBC wildlife programme. We then headed home and had some rum punch to celebrate a grand day out. Highly recommended even for those like me who can hardly swim. All the snorkling gear is provided and there is no pressure to get into the water if you don't want to.

Just spent a lovely day with “Dino”, Mark and Captain David on this Eco tour. We saw turtles, Eagle rays, a dolphin and lots of fish. The “sandwich” lunch was great. Just a joke - it was pasta salad, green salad, barbecue chicken and both sweet and savory plantain. Yum! All the crew were great and we got to snorkel in different areas. I definitely recommend this trip!

A really great day out! David, Dino & Mack worked hard all day to attend to everyone’s needs and were very helpful and considerate with all the activities. Their knowledge of the island was impressive and they also served a great lunch in a beautiful setting! Highly recommended!

We thought this tour was a great value. From the boat ride, small hike, turtle watching and snorkeling. The lunch was delicious and the rum punch return was great!! Is was very worth the cost compared to other island excursions. Captain David, Dino and Mark did a great job explaining every park of the island as we traveled. Highly recommend for a first time visit to Antigua like ours!

This is the second time we’ve done this tour, 3 excellent snorkelling sites, turtle spotting and lots of historical and nature information. Food for lunch was good and crew amazing.
