Eli’s Original Eco tour is Antigua’s oldest Eco tour. We spend a full day in the North Sound of Antigua where we have 22 uninhabited pristine offshore islands. Learn about the eco systems & the history of the different islands in this protected area. Also the turtle project at Jumby Bay, the reef ball system at Maiden Island, the beautiful and important Mangrove system of Guiana Island & much more. There are two snorkeling sessions (& a snorkel lesson for those who need) a beach stop at Bird Island where you might get a chance to see one our indigenous & endangered (nonpoisonous) Antigua Racer Snake.
We also visit Hells Gate Island for a snorkel or a climb through a small cave-like structure that goes through the island & comes out over a natural bridge on top – seeing the Atlantic Ocean on one side & Caribbean Sea on the other. Local lunch and drinks are all included in the tour which is great for all ages!

We had the most amazing day with Adventure Antigua on the Eco Tour! After easily booking with the team, we were picked up promptly at our meeting point in Jolly Harbour and met the wonderful David, Amara and Mark. After making some stops at various resorts up the island, we went up to the North Sounds which included a stop off at Hells Gate. Nothing was too much of an issue with the crew who were all extremely knowledgeable about not only the island but the plants and animals that are on the Island. They took us to all the hidden spots, shipwrecks and more, providing humour and knowledge. When at the two snorkelling spots we saw starfish, spotted eagle rays and both sea and Hawksbill Turtles and a range of other fish. One of the best boat trips we’ve been on and it was a shame once the trip was over! Thank you guys!

Perfect day on the sea, exploring islands and being with the Antiguan nature. An osprey diving for food and swimming with eagle head rays were the highlights. Crew were amazing from start to finish. If you want chilled day out not filled with music and booze then this is the trip for you. Can’t rate it highly enough!!

We had a fantastic day with David, Amaura, and Lily! We came in for the day on a cruise. My husband and I traveled with young kids, and they were so patient, understanding and friendly. Thanks to the size of the group, we were able to ask questions and the team knew everything! We climbed Hell's Gate and they gave clear instructions and coached us all the way through. The snorkeling was very cool; we saw a lot of neat coral and fish. The lunch was great -- even my picky-eating children agreed!

We had THE BEST time on this excursion!! Amari, Mark and Captain David were a blast and took great care of us. We saw beautiful beaches and resorts, saw the mangroves, some turtles, sting ray and even a huge starfish. My favorite part was going through the cave and ascending the top of Hell's Gate. This was optional as you could just snorkel here instead of going ashore, but DEF go ashore. There are 2 more spots to snorkel and the island is AMAZING. You can be in both the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans at the same time! Plus, the view from the top is incredible. After this, we did a little bit of snorkeling before lunch (which was delicious). The last stop was the good snorkeling, which was super fun. The cherry on top was the rum punch ride back :)

The Eco tour told you about the islands, birds and turtles. We saw turtles and stingrays. Some people enjoyed the snorkeling. Hells Gate was really cool to see and walk through. Lunch was delicious! David, Amara, and Lily were great tour guides.

This tour was so much fun and educational. We learned so much about the island and its ecosystem. We were able to go snorkeling with sea turtles, so many different types of fish, stingrays, and even spotted some lobsters. The day was full of entertainment David our captain, Amara and Mark took really good care of us and made it truly memorable. Money well spent would do it again in a heart beat. One of the highlights of our first time in Antigua!!

Seeking excitement on the water, Adventure Antigua absolutely delivered. This was an expertly run excursion that felt like a true expedition into the rugged beauty of Antigua’s North Sound. The highlight was undoubtedly Hell’s Gate. Navigating the cave and bridge requires a bit of agility, but the payoff is a breathtaking view that few tourists ever see. The guides were incredible—safety-conscious but encouraging—ensuring everyone felt like an explorer rather than just a passenger. The snorkeling was equally impressive. They took us to vibrant, secluded spots teeming with life, far away from the churned-up waters of the main tourist hubs. The attention to detail was spot on. Lunch was provided and home cooked by a local woman who made some fantastic jerk chicken and amazing pasta salad. The crew was charismatic, and the entire flow of the day was perfectly timed to get us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. It was adventurous, professional, and easily one of the best days we’ve spent on the water.
