Please Consider:
We are going to the mountains so be prepared for the freezing weather and take something warm and comfortable shoes with you.
Sometimes roads are blocked because of snow and we cannot go beyond Gudauri but no worries. In this case, we stay in ski resort Gudauri and have an opportunity to ski, go up to the top of the mountain by cable car, try paragliding, ATV bikes, Horse riding, etc.

What To Expect
Zhinvali Water Reservoir
We start our tour by visiting Jinvali dam. It became a new water supply for Tbilisi in 1985. As a result, we have a beautiful lake with stunning views of the water and surrounding colorful forests. At this place, you can grab some coffee, buy souvenirs and of course shoot some beautiful pictures with the amazing views of Jinvali.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble
Afterward, we stop to explore Ananuri Fortress Complex. This place attracts everyone with its views and history. Ananuri Fortress was one of the strongest strongholds of medieval times in Georgia. It was attacked many times throughout the centuries but it still stands to attract more and more guests every day. Currently, this castle is a UNESCO Heritage Site and its merging with the beauty of the Aragvi gorge gives this place a flawless charm.

5.00Luka was AMAZING. He contacted me right after the tour. Understood what I was looking for. I had limited time so he offered to pick me up from the airport and was very flexible when my flight schedule changed. Him and his driver took me on an amazing magical tour of the Caucasus mountains along the military road. It was breathtaking. He went over and above and got me to try some local food and also set up a mind-blowing paragliding trip. We visited Jinvali, ananuri, gudauri and kazbegi. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

5.00We are grateful to Luka (our enthusiastic tourguide) and Mancho (our highly-skilled lady driver) for the Gudauri tour. We felt comfortable during our entire travel from Tbilisi to Gudauri. We had our stopovers and Luka was so knowledgeable about the area, giving us a detailed explanation of each location's history. They also recommended a good restaurant where we can taste their local food. Thank you Luka and Mancho for making our snow experience very memorable and wonderful!

5.00I have visited Tbilisi a few times in the past and on this occasion, as I had a bit more time, I wanted to spend a day visiting the mountains. I am thrilled that I did! We booked relatively last minute but Lela was extremely helpful and I was able to communicate with her easily via WhatsApp to make all the arrangements. She answered any questions quickly, listened to what I wanted and designed a schedule around that. I was so impressed with her professionalism. Our driver, Michael, arrived on time and was absolutely brilliant. As well as giving us the usual ‘tourist information’, he took the time to tell us more intricate details about Georgian culture. This was really good as it meant that we developed a better understanding of the Georgian people / way of life. As we had a private tour, we had a more flexible schedule and Michael was very accommodating, taking us to a mountain festival celebration and also visiting the beach on the Jinvali reservoir on the way back to Tbilisi. I can also confirm, or more specifically my girlfriend can confirm, that he’s an excellent photographer and we have some great pictures of the trip! The highlight for both of us was the spectacular views along the way, at the various stop-offs. There are some incredible sights to behold along the way. Overall, I highly recommend Lela and Michael. A wonderful day!

5.00Luka took us on a great tour going north of Tbilisi. He was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable about all the stops on the tour. The scenery was awe-inspiring and the churches we visited equally as beautiful. Also, ask him how to eat Khinkali. He’s a professional!
