Aeroscopia
Under its canopy, the aeroscopia museum showcases a very rich collection of civil and military aircraft, among which several can be visited. Around the aircraft, many scale models, as well as videos and animations for all ages and a historic fresco, recount the history of aviation, from its origins to today Meet the four stars of our collection: - Concorde : the legend - The Airbus A300B and its amazing refurbishment, with transparetn floor and window panels - The impressive Super Guppy and its cargo bay movie theatre. - Caravelle, the classic French vintage jetliner Take control of your visit: - Explore our interactive thematic exhibitions - You are the pilot : try our real flight simulator - Don’t miss our scientific and cultural events - Pass on the culture of aviation to your children thanks to our workshops and presentations, available all year round. Several different visits are proposed: - independent tours - guided thematic tours - the discovery tour, the family tour… Children are given special attention, with a story tour and a free booklet: « Rallye in the museum » Aeroscopia also hosts several receptive zones: the Evénement’Ciel area, which can be privatised for evening events and the seminar rooms and the auditorium in the Ferme de Pinot. A shop enables visitors to take home a souvenir of their visit, offering a wide range of products, from pens and scale models to T-shirts or toys, posters, postcards, books and DVDs on aviation. The Sky-Trotter, a 150 seat restaurant with a terrace opening onto the parc, enables visitors or passers-by to enjoy lunch or a snack, each day of the year. The « Atelier des avions », located just next to the Ferme de Pinot, groups the collection of aircraft belonging to the Ailes Anciennes association - who restores and preserves the aircraft composing the aeronautical heritage of Toulouse - and the Aérothèque and Cap’Avenir Concorde associations. Guided tours are regularly organised, for young and old.

Although we bought tickets online, we had to queue to get the badges to access the tours! For young children, there was only one proposal last night!!! Too late for my little... Although as a family we were not allowed any escort to have explanations in the museum. For the children as for us, it was not very interesting. You're home after two hours and you don't know more than when you got here.

It would be totally good to get the information in several languages eg with audiogite. Otherwise, very good.

Very nice museum, lots of things to see and read, we can go up and see the interior of some planes, we are taught the different professions of the air. 2h visit for me is a little short you have to plan 3h to 3h30 to see everything so exciting! Many other planes on display. Nice shop at the end of the visit. To be redone

A very nice visit accompanied by a very interesting and very competent guide. She was able to answer all our questions. There's a lot of information out there, but we're able to pick up the essentials. It's great to be able to visit planes like the mythical Concorde, or the A380. The bus tour in the AIRBUS site is less interesting, there are many reminders of the previous visit after a while we no longer remember if too technical Nice trip to the land of aeronautics.

The museum was big and interesting with many aircraft. The only thing would be the audio which was in French only, apart from that everything else included the English description

They're not going to be disappointed with the visit. Half a day is required for a first visit. Stunning.

A very good visit, which ranges from the history of aeronautics to the presentation of aircraft (A380, A400M, Concorde, etc) through the aeronautical professions and other themes. The museum is clean and well maintained, except for a few bugs with games/screens in the A380. Too bad there was no guided tour on a Wednesday at the beginning of September... We spent 4 hours in this museum, far from the 01:30 announced and did not read everything. If you fly over the exhibitions, count 02 hours of visit and if you want to read everything and watch, rather 5 hours of visit (all without the potential guided tours). There are a few games for children and plane tours may interest them but otherwise the rest may seem a bit boring. We also have to visit "Let's visit Airbus" but we see mostly... buildings. Despite our great guide, the tour was not crazy.

Well laid out museum covering all stages of air travel. Begins with hot air ventures, the into powered flight. It traces the achievements of key individuals with pictures, models and some film. The main floor has numerous "real" airplanes and helicopters. Many can be toured inside with details on equipment and luxury items. There are two tarmacs providing additional details on these historical machines. I'd rate it close to the EAA Museum in Oshkosh Wisconsin for attention to details and preserving historical airplanes.
