Everything was amazing! Juan was so knowledgable about not just the scenes from the movie but about the people, history and culture of Oaxaca. He was so friendly and welcoming. This is a tour that you should definitely take even if you haven’t seen Nacho Libre.

Wonderful experience! Took this tour with my fiancé who is a big Nacho Libre fan for his birthday. Jr. went above and beyond for us, even stopping before our tour started so that we can buy a luchador mask. On the first stop he made sure we had some breakfast before moving on. He was sure to provide knowledgeable and interesting facts all day. He helped celebrate our engagement by having the distillery to play our song and getting us some mezcal. We had a wonderful day! Highly recommend you take a tour with him if you are visiting Oaxaca.

The experience with Trip Tour Oaxaca was wonderful, from the moment of booking, the communication when passing by us super attentive, friendly, gentlemanly, was always on the lookout for us, also along the way if we wanted to stop to the bathroom, buy etcetera provided us that confidence but above all laughter never lacked. As far as the tour was very complete, you have a lot of knowledge in general of all Oaxaca and Mexico we talk very enjoyable of other travel experiences, even give us extra tips! Thanks for everything, for the friendship and trust we hope to return very soon for the following tours. You have your doors open in southern Mexico.

My wife and I have had a number of guides over the years and Juan would certainly be at the top of the list. Personable, funny (I think he's actually a comedian on the side!) and very knowledgeable. He brings an enthusiasm to even minor details that make his activities all the more interesting. He's a man who clearly enjoys what he does and loves interacting with people and it reflects in the tours that he runs. This latest tour is a hoot for anyone who is a big fan of Nacho Libre! Enjoy what the master has prepared for you!

Daniel was an awesome Guide. Tour was amazing. Rain unfortunately cut our trip short but that had nothing to do with him. Definitely recommend After the footsteps

My son is a Nacho Libre fan and this tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Edmundo, picked up on this so continued to show us short clips of the movie as we hit 3 movie related stops within our tour. We started off by seeing the church from the movie where Nacho’s clothes catch fire. The town was celebrating an annual town celebration so we were able to get some local food only footsteps away from the church. Next we stopped by Monte Alban where we were able to climb the ruins just like Nacho did at the end of the movie. We wanted to recreate two scenes from the movie and with the help of Edmundo we were able to do just that- when Nacho climb up the top of the ruin as well as a family picture with part of the ruin in the background. The textile workshop was engaging and we were fully immersed in learning about the culture of this town, their customs, the making of candles, the meaning behind the textile color and patterns, and how each color is extracted from nature. We each were able to create a flower petal from bees wax, handle three different natural elements on the palm of our hands to see how three different colors are created and used in dying the lamb wool, separate wool fibers, as well as help in the textile weaving technique. Next we stopped by a mezcal distillery where we were walked through the entire process. We were able to taste a piece of the agave heart that had been cooked in partial underground oven last week- it reminded us of sugar cane and was very sweet. Next we were able to taste a bit of sweet agave syrup. Lastly we got to sample 9 different kinds of mezcal. The guide there was great, informative, and had a great sense of humor. Lastly we stopped at the place where Nacho confronted Esqueleto and once again took several pictures and videos. On our way back, we were dropped off by the Church of Santo Domingo where our tour guide recommended several place to eat as well as informed us that we would be able to experience several weddings while walking around the area. The tour was informative and engaging. I would highly recommend it as well as this company. They were prompt, communicative, patient, and knowledgeable.

Stop searching and just book with Junior. He was so Professional, punctual, and incredibly passionate about Oaxaca. Junior tailored the day to our interests, navigated the city like a pro, and gave us recommendations for dinner that were better than anything we found online. Not only did Junior show us the sights; he made us fall in love with the city. Junior clearly has a great relationship with the local vendors, which made the whole experience feel authentic and welcoming. Don’t bother with the big tour buses; this is the real deal. If you want to go beyond the surface-level tourist spots, you have to book a tour with Junoir. I 100% recommend this tour with. 10/10!

Wow, what an experience. This tour has everything: sights, culture, mezcal, worms and of course - Nacho Libre. Going to see the iconic locations from one of my all-time favourite movies was amazing. But it wouldn't have been nearly as impactful without our fabulous tour guide, Jaun, who really brought the whole experience to life with his enthusiasm and vast knowledge of the area. Easily one of the best days I had on my trip to Mexico, and I'll be recommending it to anyone who plans to visit :)
