Enjoyed our afternoon trip with Garry, who provided an informative commentary on the way there about the mythology behind the Causeway. We were very lucky to enjoy beautiful weather the whole week of our stay, so we saw the Causeway at its best! It would have been nice to have a little longer there (we only just made it back to the bus in time), so I would perhaps recommend the full day tour if you'd like to take your time.

After doing this half day trip, I would recommend that you do the full day trip instead. Once you get to the causeway, it's about a 10m speed walk down and another 20m back up. We had one hour and since this was the only place with a bathroom, we spent the first 10m in a long bathroom line. That means we spent about 15m at the actual causeway. Kind of a bummer. Also, we didn't stop at the hedges or go through them. We literally drove by them and saw them for 2 seconds. Considering how much I paid, I'm a bit bummed by the experience. There was a museum there we didn't even have time to look at.

It’s a good idea to show up 15+ minutes early and get seats on the passenger side. To walk back and forth to see all the amazing rock formations, and to freshen up and get a snack, you must move really fast. The bus is narrow and the seats are close.

Our trip was enjoyed by all of us, everything was on schedule our guide/driver Edwardo/Mary! 😆 was very pleasant, informative and entertaining too. The Giants Causeway was a amazing site to see, you certainly need to be able bodied, however there is a shuttle bus to take you down to it and return you to the top £1 charge each way. Just as a note for the fit people amongst you, you can walk down about a 20mins stroll. We would thoroughly recommend this trip with Paddy Wagon.

I expected a coach trip to the Giants Causeway but got so much more. Great stop on the way, to see Scotland from a beautiful viewpoint. Fabulous history lesson from the driver/guide who was funny and entertaining as well as knowledgeable. He played some great Irish folk songs that we could sing along to while driving through stunning countryside. Great value for money. Easy pick up instructions and a must do whilst in Belfast. I would definitely recommend it.
