5.00We did the kayak tour on the Tamarin river. The scenery is absolutely spectacular! Won’t eg mountains in the background. Our guide was very friendly and informative. It’s a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

5.00Very nice walk that is better done accompanied. Our guide was Gilles who, in addition to being very friendly, accompanied us safely while explaining the surrounding flora and giving us very interesting information about Mauritius in general.

5.00Our guide Eliza was efficient at getting us on to the water and we had a very pleasant paddle up the river in a tandem kayak. You don't need to be an experienced kayaker. The other couple with us weren't and they managed fine. It was low tide and the river was quite low in places, but it didn't cause any big issue. Do wear factor 50 suncream and a hat or you will get tosted. Take water as well.
