Haven’t been for years but have always loved the show so decided to go back and it didn’t disappoint. Only think that Asian tourists would likely find it difficult to understand the loud commentary; I struggled a bit. Loved being able to rub sheepy noses . I didn’t participate on the tractor tour because I spend a lot of time on a sheep farm. I got chosen to milk the jersey cow which was a bit of a surprise but good fun!

My friend visiting from Scotland and I did the Farm Tour followed by the Farm Show. Sarah was our guide on the tour and she was very entertaining and knowledgeable .LOVE the sense of humour ! She drove that tractor as smoothly as a new mother pushing her new born baby in the push chair. She obviously loves all the animals as they do her. Good pace on the tour, plenty of time to feed the animals and get back in time for the show. Please pass on our thanks as we missed her after the tractor parked up - we were washing our footwear soles! Then Shaun conducted the Farm Show- again brilliant knowledge base and very funny. Perfect guy for the multicultural audience that day.

We are actually from rural NZ so weren’t expecting to be wowed by the experience in all honesty, but gosh it was a wonderful day of it! Just enough variety of activities and historical/ educational stuff to still be fun; friendly staff who are clearly sincere about their animals and our beloved country; the animals are well versed on their roles and full of character, and even the cafe is decent. Ka Pai Agrodome :)

Loved this experience!! We booked it last minute as our stay in Rotorua was extended. It should be a must on everyone’s schedule visiting Rotorua. All of the staff was so friendly and so many different experiences from shows to feeding the animals. The food was delicious as well

Great service and fun for all. But at start of farm show please tell audience that the headphones are in English as well as other languages because the microphone commentary which is excellent is very fast and a bit muffled for older ears! As 80 year old kiwis we didn’t realise we could have heard the English commentary clearly instead of puzzling it out until half way through! Signs on the stage could also note that

This activity you cannot miss if you are in Rotorua, from the epic farm show to the outstanding farm tour, it was deeply engaging, entertaining, and so much fun for our whole family! Our tour guides were so hilarious, we laughed non-stop pretty much the whole time and it really made the experience. The cafe is awesome, the tour on the tractor ride was very comfortable, there was chance to hand feed and get close to lots of animals e.g alpaca's and sheep, lots of photo opportunities. An all round memorable experience that we are so glad we did! it's really awesome that they offer the carer and disability entry too!

What a fun place. Be sure to see the sheep show and the sheepdog demonstration. I learned so much about the varieties of sheep! There is a nice gift shop on site as well.
