Never in the field of war tours has so much been offered by so few… all Owen can offer you is blood, sweat and tears … this was his finest hour (45 minutes actually)…. A really good delve into 24 Nov1940 when Bristol got a hammering by the Luftwaffe and now I realise why there is all that greenery on the riverbank !!!! Incredible to see how the council and public would have sheltered and very sad to see the way in which such beautiful buildings such as the Dutch house were lost !!!

Such an interesting tour and a really worthwhile project. Our guide has a real passion for the tunnels and opening them up to the public. I learnt a lot about the city I live in, and especially the WW2 bombings. Would highly recommend

Really enjoyed the tour and it exceeded expectations. Our guide was passionate, funny and engaging, and we learnt so much about the fascinating history of St Nicks and Bristol's experiences during WWII.

Owen had fantastic knowledge and enthusiasm and made the tour very interesting also with some humour. Loved seeing the history of the air raid shelter and memorably also the photos of what Castle Park would have been like pre 1940 before the bombing. Having lived all my life in Bristol it was so interesting to hear and see the places I didn’t know existed and what my grandparents lived through with the war. Highly recommend tour.

Duncan the organiser was very friendly, witty and interesting to listen to. You could see he was very passionate about Bristol's Wartime History. I went to keep my husband company who is also passionate about Bristol's heritage and was not sure what to expect, but I enjoyed it very much! Definitely worth a visit - hidden memories you will only find on the tour. Book a Tour and don't "dilly-dally" (I'm sure there is a song somewhere". Thank you Duncan keep up the good work.
