What To Expect

Domestic Arrivals After booking, you will receive a confirmation. On arrival, please make your way to the Exemplar desk in the T2 Arrivals/Baggage hall. The desk is on your left as you enter the Arrivals hall. Please check-in with the Exemplar staff at the desk before collecting luggage; they will advise the Coach Bay No., where you will meet your driver. Then collect luggage, and proceed to your coach. International Arrivals If you have an Australian capable phone please turn it on as soon as possible. (And please remember to provide us with your number at time of booking). Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals lounge as you exit the custom hall. He/she will greet you with a smile and a board with your name on it. They will be near the Exemplar Desk in T1.

After a 15 hour flight I wanted to have an easy time of it at the airport so I had booked a private airport transfer thru Viator. I provided all of my travel information. When I was waiting for my luggage I got a text from the transportation company asking me to let him know when I was supposed to arrive. I told him I was already in Sydney waiting for luggage. He then directed me to get my luggage and then leave the airport and walk 5/7 minutes away (mind you it was also raining) to be picked up in front of a hotel. He also said to text when I was walking and that the pick up would be there about 5-10min after we got to the hotel. Well it was a taxi. No meet and greet at the airport. No private transportation service. We had to schlep all our luggage to a hotel then basically wait for a taxi. I could have done that myself at the airport if that’s what I wanted. The transportation company told me they never got any of the information from Viator.

I have always used Exemplar Airport transfer services. When being in Cairns. They are a very professional transfer service. Both, to and from Cairns Airport. As my flight from Brisbane was 11.15pm at night. I had concerns that the service would not have been waiting for me. But, my concerns were not realised. As the Exemplar driver was waiting for me. In the arrivals hall, at Cairns Airport. A great service at, a very reasonable price. Can't recommend them highly enough.
