Ait Ben Haddou
Explore the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning fortified village (ksar) built in the 11th century. Walk through the narrow, winding alleyways of this ancient clay fortress, visit traditional Berber homes still inhabited by local families, and climb to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape. This famous kasbah has been featured in numerous Hollywood films including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lawrence of Arabia. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the architecture, history, and the families who have lived here for generations.
Tizi n Tichka
Stop at the highest point of the High Atlas Mountains at 2,260 meters (7,415 feet) above sea level. Take in breathtaking panoramic views across the dramatic mountain landscape, capture stunning photos of the winding mountain roads, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. On clear days, you can see for dozens of kilometers across the Atlas range. Your guide will explain the geography, the Berber villages nestled in the mountains, and the significance of this historic trade route that connects Marrakech to the Sahara Desert.
