Explore the world heritage site of Ajanta & Ellora caves, astonishingly carved into hillside rock in the middle of nowhere are these caves. Both There are 34 caves at Ellora dating from between the 6th and 11th centuries AD, and 29 caves at Ajanta dating back to between the 2nd century BC and 6th century AD. The caves at Ajanta are all Buddhist, while the caves at Ellora are a mixture of Buddhist, Hindu and Jain.

Our tour driver promptly picked us up in Aurungabad and drove us to both Ajanta and Ellora caves. We toured these spectacular world Heritage sites from 7 am to 4 pm, we’ll worth the trip. The manager Mr. Jai Singh also made a follow up call to ensure all was going well. This Viator booking was reasonably priced and enjoyable. Thanks very much, Mahendra & Louise from the USA
