The very first stop at Lyttelton harbour, surrounded by hills, including the famous Port Hills, which offer breathtaking scenic views of the harbour, Christchurch, and the Southern Alps. We'll pass via almost 2km longer Lyttelton Tunnel, which opened in 1964, connects Lyttelton with Christchurch.

5.00Steve was such a kind and accommodating tour guide. He looked after us so well and even added a few extra stops outside of our itinerary, giving us the chance to explore more of the beautiful Akaroa area. It's a charming little French-influenced town with stunning terrain and a picturesque harbour. Overall, a great experience for a day trip from Christchurch.

5.00We had a wonderful day in Akaroa. The drive across the terraces was beautiful. Visiting the Alpaca Farm was a fun highlight. Akaroa is a charming little French town. It’s surrounded by hills and a lovely harbour. The views were amazing. Thanks to Kiwi Adventures for the private car and friendly tour guide. We highly recommend this day trip from Christchurch!

Its topography was absolutely impressive with a volcano formation. Had a short walk along the harbour. Fish & chips were mean! Thanks Kiwi Adventures tours for bringing us here! Highly recommended.

Apart from Marine life excursions we specially requested Michel to take us cute spitting animal Alpaca farm. 5.00We had a fantastic tour from Christchurch to Akaroa, taking the jaw-dropping scenic route along the ridge and off the beaten path. We stopped in Lyttelton for lunch and to poke around the shops. Our tour guide Dave fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the area, and made the day a fun and memorable one.
