What To Expect
I Trulli di Alberobello - World Heritage Site
Walk through lovely alleyways surrounded by ‘trulli’ dwellings, built by peasants more than 700 years ago. Learn about the remarkable construction of these cone-shaped drywall houses and the reason for which they are there.
Alberobello
The tour is a 1.30 hour, pleasant and gentle walk through the magic trulli area. You will get the chance to discover all the secret of those unusual ancient dwellings. We usually finish our walk at the border between the old part and the modern area of the city, where all the shops and cafés are.

5.00We enjoyed an excellent excursion to visit the “trulli” of Alberobello, guided by Fabrizio. We did this as a shore excursion from the port of Bari. Fabrizio was able to teach us a bit about the landscape of Puglia and the history of the trulli. He escorted us around Alberobello to show us the best viewpoints and trulli. He was also able to recommend an excellent restaurant that offered delicious local specialties and wine. Also, he is an excellent driver! Highly recommend this tour.

5.00Fab is a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide, it's easy to tell that he takes a lot of pride in showing visitors around his home region of Italy. The tours and experiences through the day were very well guided, Fab does a very good job of making things fun and injecting some energy into the day. Also, doing everything with a private group (just my wife me myself) made it much easier to tailor the experience to our preferences. Our tour consisted of a guided walk around Alberobello, including areas other than the truli houses. We also toured/had lunch at a nearby dairy farm. Both experiences are highly recommended. A few additional notes - Fab's English is excellent, there was never any issue with communication and he was able to interpret for us as well. He is also a very good driver.

5.00Fabrizio was fantastic—very knowledgeable and very passionate about the trulli. He picked us up from our hotel, drove us to Alberobello, pointing out local landmarks and explaining some of the history and culture along the way, then in Alberobello, he guided us to the oldest trulli in the town, inside one set up as a museum and to the trulli church. Fantastic, I learned a lot, highly recommend.
Don’t visit Puglia without contacting Fabrizio at Puglia Private Tours first!

5.00Visiting Puglia with a group of 20 consisting of family and friends that have never ventured into Italy was quite the task. I contacted Fabrizio and asked if he could help with a customized itinerary that included guided daily tours and transportation for a week. All the transportation, guided tours , activities and luncheons were fantastic . Everything was absolutely wonderful. Our visits included Alberobello, a catamaran boat ride on the Adriatic, visits to Matera, Martina Franca, Polignano and even a fantastic trip to the Ionian coastline! Everything worked like clockwork, no surprises. Fabrizio was in constant communication and always available. Thank you again Fabrizio for a wonderful week in Puglia! Thank you Fabrizio

5.00We spent an amazing day with Fabrizio visiting the trulli in Alberobello. He was prompt and full of energy as soon as he arrived. He was fun, knowledgeable, and made the day very enjoyable. There was a perfect amount of time with him showing us around and time to spend our our own shopping and exploring. He was also very flexible and fulfilled a special request we had, even though it wasn't scheduled. I highly recommend this tour and Fabrizio.
