Excellent tour with friendly and accommodating driver. He took us to the locations and allowed us as much time as we wanted. Provided knowledge while driving and recommendations for things to do in Thessaloniki.

We really enjoyed our day with Dimitris. He was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. We even went off the schedule a bit to do some things we wanted to do and he was very accommodative. He told us that he was soon going to offer a multi day food and culture trip about northern Greece and we can’t wait to go!

Dimitrio was an outstanding person to receive me for this trip and readily adapted the schedule to accomodate my specific needs for the trips to Pella and Vergina. Anyone wanting to visit Thessaloniki would be well rewarded by taking this tour.

Dimitris is a good driver, reliable, good company and told us interesting stories about life in Thessaloniki. We saw the museum in Pella, the archaeological site of Pella, the Museum of the Tombs of the Macadoians (including Phillipos II) and the new museum in Vergina (Aigai in ancient Greece). Wonderful sites and a great day trip from Thessaloniki. Highly recommended.

We travelled with Dimitris Bekas to Pella and Vergina. He was utterly magnificent. He arrived promptly in a very clean car,was full of local knowledge and expertise and was delightful company. If anyone would like a tour of these two places, Dimitris comes with the very highest recommendation.

Dimitris is an excellent and helpful guide. He even recommended a restaurant. There are 3 museums in 3 different locations, so we didn’t want to visit the excavations to save time for the museums. Highly recommended

Dimitris has been a fantastic guide! He’s kind, enthusiastic, and fun. Also, he’s a local in Thessaloniki, which makes him the perfect person to get to know the city and the whole area. We covered not only the planned visits to Pella and Vergina but also a nice tour in the city. I would undoubtedly recommend doing this tour with him!

This was a very easy and enriching day trip from Thessaloniki. First, I am so grateful that we were able to do it. My travelling companion and I were both sick for the originally scheduled date. Although it was past the period for a refund on cancellation, the provider rescheduled us a few days out. It gave us time to recover and not miss out. This was all because of our extremely kind driver guide Demetrius. The tour itself was great. It was fascinating to visit both the archeological site of Pella and then the museum which présents the treasures excavated from the site. It is truly one of the most important archeological sites on Greece. After a nice coffee break, we proceeded to Edessa to see the waterfalls. This was also testament to Demetrius' flexibility as we had already visited Vergina. Edessa is a charming town criss crossed by streams and small foot bridges. It all culminates at one impressive roaring waterfall. Thank you, Demetrius, for a great day !
