Come with us and taste the best snacks and tapas from Alicante! A real local experience.
Our proposal is having a gastronomic experience trying many typical products from our region, including fruits and vegetables brought directly from the orchard, meat from local farms, Mediterranean fish, as well as tasting cheeses and handmade sweets, all accompanied by typical drinks, both with alcohol and without alcohol. You will discover delicious aromas and flavors!
We will meet at the central market and visit 10 different food places, which some of them have more than 100 years old. You can get to know the most experienced sellers and talk about the history of each product and the tradition behind each of them. Meanwhile, you will discover the interesting history of the central market and its hidden places.
Booking this experience supports the small businesses, the local producers and the artisans that are still doing their work as it used to be done before.

5.00I don't normally book organised packages like this and I'm so glad I did this time. So worth it having someone local and knowledgeable to walk and talk you through a place, plus bring you to great stalls for samples of all the produce. Nadia our guide was amazing. A lovely human being, friendly, well informed, funny and very engaging. She was great company and the whole family loved her!

5.00Francisco and Christina were fabulous hosts! Much more than your typical intro to Spanish tapas and foods, we tried many interesting foods with much history at the main Mercado. Amazing value for the price (and great wine too!). We’ve done a few of these food tours and this was one of our favorites. Our teenage grandkids loved it too!

5.00Outstanding food tour. The guide Fran was extremely knowledgeable about the food of Alicante & Spain and also of Spanish history. Fran was so good that we booked a second tour with the same company. It was such a fun and enjoyable tour tasting so many of the delights that the local region has to offer. Highly recommended.
