We had a quick 4.5 hr trip to Alice Springs on this coach and a very professional and friendly driver :) An interesting experience stopping for the 'Dunny' and a drive through a road fire :)

The coach was comfortable. If you're a disabled traveller like me, though, check ahead whether the rest stops have accessible toilets. Unfortunately, the toilet on the bus wasn't working.

The coach was comfortable and the driver was very friendly and knowledgable. I didn't realise the coach transfer and the day tours were combined together on the same bus, though in retrospect perhaps that should have been obvious and I fault myself for not checking. If you're just wanting the coach transfer, by aware you'll be getting a knowledgable but loud tour talk parts of the way down. If that sounds appealing, by all means, you'll love it. If you were after a quiet ride or wanted to listen to an audiobook like I did, perhaps consider renting a car instead. Naturally the tour talk is over the loudspeaker, and the volume is up pretty high, probably because the average person just doing a day trip rather than wanting to experience Uluru over several days is pretty senior and possibly hard of hearing.

I have mobility issues and had to do extensive research to ensure that I was able to undertake this trip. Some of the competitors made it very plain that I was unlikely to be able to travel with them without being a burden. Emu Run Experience were extremely helpful and put my mind at rest. Consequently it was a great trip with enough breaks to be able to give us room to move around and see some Aussie icons, as well as arrival at Yulara with coach transfer to my hotel which I was not expecting. Sheldon was very friendly and informative with the anecdotes and history he was able to share with us. While I do not expect to be back in the region any time soon, I would highly recommend Emu Run - particularly if you have any concerns, they will tell it to you like it is.

It was a great travel, I supported and was given care as a passenger/tourist. Our Tour Guide/Driver Mr Corben gave us information about the special places while we are travelling. He delivered it politely. I felt so safe when we arrived Alice Spring a midnight of 01 June 2025. Mr Corben asked me if I will be ok walking from the bus along the street to my booked hotel, I said I am a bit scared. He then accompanied me with my big suitcase to the Diplomat Hotel Reception, he reassured that the hotel receptionist was there to assist me. I was so thankful to Mr Corben. Thank you again. To Emu management, Mr Corben is a great example of a team member who really cares to the visitors coming to visit Central Australia.

Took the Emu tour from Alice Springs to Uluru. Charlie was our bus driver told us stories along the way & when we got to Uluru, Yad our tour guide took over. Yad told us such interesting stories. He knew everything about the Uluru history. I learned so much…Then he & Charlie cooked a fabulous bbq at sunset, we even had a champagne toast! Obviously, they both love their job & both were such a pleasure! It was a very long day but so worth it…I took a lot of tours in Oz but this is up there as one of the best! Highly recommend.
