5.00An Incredible Day with Carlos – A Must-Do Experience! Carlos was fantastic from the start – friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Arranging our meeting point was effortless. We chose the full-day Coast and Countryside tuk tuk tour, hoping to see Portugal from a more local and authentic perspective – and Carlos delivered beyond expectations. Our day began with a quick tour around Albufeira, followed by a stop at a local market to pick up some fresh regional produce. From there, Carlos took us to almost every breathtaking coastal viewpoint you could imagine – including hidden spots that aren’t accessible by buses or taxis. We explored private beaches, secret fishing coves, dramatic rock formations, dinosaur footprints, and even got a peek at some millionaire villas. Then we ventured inland, through peaceful villages, rolling hills, and mountain views. We visited natural springs, a traditional wash house, a windmill, a beautiful little church, carob (cacaba) trees, and a local honey shop. Carlos also took us to a family-run countryside restaurant, far from the tourist traps – hands down the best Portuguese food of our trip! Fresh fish of the day, seasonal veg, and amazing value compared to the busy main strip. The entire day was packed with discovery, local stories, and stunning sights. Carlos was an absolute highlight of our holiday – warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about showing the best of his country. Highly recommended – this is more than just a tour, it’s a full immersion into real Portugal.

5.003rd tour with Carlos. Had a great day, saw a lot of new hotspots. Both stand and inland visited with of course a visit to Paderne and the small organic shop for the best fruit and vegetables.
