If you're less interested in snorkeling you'll have the opportunity to take a more relaxed approach and enjoy the island's beautiful beaches. If you are in full relaxation mode just hang out off the boat in crystal clear waters and let the crew pamper you with complimentary tropical drinks as you listen to some island music. It's a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation while enjoying some of the most beautiful places that Puerto Rico has to offer.

Afternoon Tour check in is at 1:30pm SHARP. Please plan accordingly.

The drive to Safe Harbor Marina Puerto del Rey is about an hour from San Juan, please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure tour time.
Snorkeling gear including mask, snorkel, fins and floating belts are also included in the package. You may bring your own if you wish.
Free parking available and walking distance from vessel.
Valid Driver License or Government Issued ID is REQUIRED for check-in (NO exceptions).
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If experience is cancelled due to not meeting minimum number of travelers, you will be offered a different date or full refund.

Our vessel is US Coast Guard Certified for up to 49 passengers and we are only accepting a maximum of 39 passengers to ensure the best experience and comfort throughout our tour.
It is recommended that you bring a towel and wear a swimsuit underneath beach clothes.
Pets and service animals are not allowed due to the nature of the tour and limited space.
Not allowed onboard: beach chairs, umbrellas, strollers, coolers and hookahs.
Late arrivals or no shows the day of the tour are non-refundable. A non‑refundable rebooking fee of $50 per person applies directly with the tour provider, subject to availability. Please note that seats are reserved in advance and involve fixed costs; missed departures due to late arrival, no‑show/no‑call, oversleeping, or transportation issues are the customer’s responsibility.
Not allowed: children under 3 years old and pregnant women due to safety reasons.
If you are prone to motion sickness an over the counter motion sickness remedy is highly recommended 1 hour prior to check in.
Please call our office directly if you have any dietary restrictions or any food allergies at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour date.
This tour does not include ground transportation. You will not be offered a refund or rescheduled if you were not able to arrange transportation services in advance.
Destination of predilection is Icacos Island. However, we may need to make last minute changes and deviate to a different location nearby if sea conditions change or if there is any other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the customer experience. We will always do our very best to take the customer to best area and provide the most enjoyable and safest experience.

What To Expect
Cayo Icacos
Enjoy the beautiful deserted beaches of Icacos island and explore the diverse marine life of Lobos or Palomino island on the east coast of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Experience our clear turquoise waters, white sand and breathtaking views while being pampered by our amazing crew aboard vessel Tortuga. Our boat departs from Safe Harbor Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo and head straight to Icacos island for an approximate 15-20 minute boat ride. Once at the island our captain will take you to the best snorkeling spot for the snorkeling part of the tour, were you'll enjoy the marine life using our high-quality snorkeling gear and floating devices. After snorkeling time (1-hour approximate) enjoy our delicious tropical drinks, lunch, snacks and fresh fruit while listening to some island rhythms. After lunch time, soak up some rays at the beach, swim or float and enjoy the island views before heading back to Safe Harbor Puerto del Marina.

Check in is at 1:30 pm: Check in is done at the boat at 1:30 pm. Tour time is from 2:00pm to 6:00pm Duration: 4 hours: This tour is 4.5 hour aproximately from check in time to return time. Lunch time: Turkey sandwiches, fresh pasta salad, fresh bean salad, chips and cookies. Also, sodas, water, rum and tropical drinks. Icacos island Beach & Snorkel : Travel time to our first location 15-20 minutes. Snorkeling time 1 hour approximately. Beach Time 2.5 hours approximately. Tortuga Vessel: Newton Powerboat 46' with bathroom and seating capacity for up to 49 passengers. Note: We only take up to 40 passengers**
Beach and Snorkel -AM Session
Check-in is at 7:30 am sharp: Tour time is from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm. Duration: 5 hours: This tour is 5 hours including check in time. Lunch : Turkey sandwiches, fresh pasta salad, fresh bean salad, chips, cookies and whole fruit. Also, sodas, water, rum, piña colada. Icacos island beach & snorkel : Travel time to our first location 15-20 minutes. Snorkeling time 1 hour approximately. Beach Time 2.5 hours approximately. Newton PowerBoat 46' : Vessel has private bathroom and we currently accomodate 40 passengers max. per tour. (Vessel is certified for 49 passengers)

4.00it is very packed on the boat, when they say up to 40 people they mean 40 people. our first stop was snorkeling it was so pretty, i didn’t think we had that much time there though. i wish i would have seen more fish, this might have been me though. before our second stop we had drinks and lunch, it was just okay. then we were able to get off and explore the beach. we were able to find a tide pool, and explore some sea creatures there.

5.00It was soooo fun!!!!!! The ride to the island was smooth besides regular waves that you encounter.. the music was nice! The Crew were very engaging and was making sure that everyone was having a great time!!! The food they had on the boat was good. Icacos island was very relaxing and we got to take our drinks on the beach, which was very nice so we could relax and enjoy our cocktail.. I would definitely book with them again!! If I could give any advice, ride on the top area!! It was great!!!

1.00This was my first time experiencing a Catamaran trip. It was also my partners first time and visiting PR as well. Even though they took our footwear after boarding the boat, the staff was really great. It was unfortunate that we were the outsiders booked with a wedding party of 38. It felt like we were crashing a wedding…lol… It was a little uncomfortable, to say the least. I was expecting a more upbeat atmosphere where everyone would mingling together to create a more vibrant experience. Icacos Beach is not a beach!!! The area was very deserted and unpleasant. It was also non swimmer friendly. I don’t recommend the “Tortuga” boat. They were not accommodating at all. The food wasn’t that great. They also didn’t create a free atmosphere in being able to take pictures on the tip of the boat like any other oncoming boats that were among us. My partner and I truly felt excluded since we were among a whole family celebrating a wedding. Please don’t choose the tortuga boat if wanting to have an extraordinary partying and fun experience. I don’t recommend. Just an FYI all of the boat activities were taken by the wedding party of 38. This was truly a bummer.:(((((

5.00The day I went to Icacos was cloudy and drizzling on and off. It didn't matter; my husband and I had a wonderful time. When we went to the reef, we saw several colorful fish and a manta ray. At the next stop, they had balls to play with on the beach. They brought us drinks in the water and on the beach without us even having to ask! The crew, including the captain, consisted of Kevin, Oscar, and Erick. They were very attentive to everyone, regardless of age (children, adults, and teenagers). The boat was spotless at all times, and the organization was incredible. During the meal, I saw Kevin clean his hands and use gloves before touching the food. This was very important to me. The next time I visit Fajardo or my hometown of Ceiba, I will definitely book this trip again!

5.00Captain eric, kevin and oscar were awesome! Kevin and oscar had great english and were very attentive and great with hospitality i general serving, talking interacting! My son 9 years old got nervous when he first started snorkeling and oscar checked on us multiple times! We changed his mask type and had a great time!!! We got to see a sting ray a long with many fish!!!! Thank you to the captain for a safe ride!
