We had a great time with Ahmed as our tour guide. He showed us all the important historical sites in Cairo and took his time to thoroughly explain the context and history behind each site. We had dietary preferences and he took us to the appropriate places to eat.

It was a lot of fun with our guide and was extremely educational. I can only advise everyone to take a tour with a guide. You get chatted up a lot less and you see a lot. It's incredible how much history lies so close together here!

What can I say about our guide Ahmed? He was wonderful, thoughtful, intelligent, kind and looked after us all so well. It's not easy keeping a group together and on schedule but he made sure we saw everything without it feeling rushed or stressful.
