What To Expect
Temple of Karnak
In the morning, our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will escort you to visit the two Massive temples on the eastern bank of the Nile. The first one is the Karnak Temple Complex which comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Building at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Period . It's a vast open-air museum, and the second largest ancient religious site in the world. It's mainly a place to worship the Theban triad (Gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso).
Luxor Temple
The Second Temple is Luxor Temple which is believed that one of the ancient Egyptian festivals that was held inside the temple as there are different scenes on the walls representing the celebration of the festival. Its inner part was built by King Amenhotep III while the outer part was built by King Ramses II . After entering the temple you will find a mosque called (Abu Al-Haggag) which was built on the ruins of a church which were built inside the temple. To the rear of the temple, there are chapels built by King Thutmosis III and Alexander the Great.

5.00Another amazing day with Egypt Tailor Made! Ghada was a great tour guide, with many stories to share. She knew all the best spots in Valley of the Kings, and took pictures of me so I didn’t only have selfies. She took care of me like an auntie, making sure I wasn’t too tired and ensuring I arrived back at the airport safely. Thank you for a great day Ghada and ETM!

5.00Taylor made tour, tailored to our own needs! It was perfectly planned out and that credit goes to our cousin! Our guide worked incredibly hard to explain thousands of years of Egyptian history… and we worked equally hard trying to understand their accent. 😅 Together, we made a great team! Despite the language challenge, their energy and dedication made the tour unforgettable.

5.00It was an excellent experience! Shimiaa, our guide, arrived at the hotel right on time and shared the full history behind everything we were seeing. She also gave us plenty of time for photos and even pointed out the best spots to take them. Highly recommended! Our driver was also fantastic—he kept the car cool with the AC on and stayed on-site so we could safely leave our belongings behind. Coming back to a refreshing car made the day even better.

5.00Omg!!!!!!! What the wonderful time in Luxor. It could not be possible without Egypt tailor made!!!!!!!!! We were there 3 nights and got arranger 2 fully days with trips. Everything was perfect. Car, driver and the best guide ever Rania Raouf!!!!! Remember this name!!!!! Such a encyclopedia!!!! This lady knows everything about Egypt ( 2 masters and PhD). She put it all together. Made a short repetition from Old and Middle Kingdom and then started with New Kingdom ( Karnak Temple,Luxor Tempe and Kings valley). I could listen to her for hours. Thank you RANIA RAOUF for such a great days and help we needed !!!!!!!! Thank you Egypt tailor made for all organization and tremendously organised trip. 🙏♥️🥰👌

5.00When you get a tour guide like Emil you may be certain you are set for a magnificent experience. I thought it was impossible to get a better guide than Sabry in Cairo, but here i am writing another glowing review for Emil who traveled with us from Aswan to Abu Simbel and to Luxor with all the sites in between and in Luxor. He made it an unforgettable experience for all of us. Designed the trip so he could tell us the story of the history of the Egyptian civilization, with genuine enthusiasm. This very organized plan allowed us to visit places off the beaten path, at times where the hoards of visitors were not too exhausting. Showed us Egyptian history as if it was a tale, easier to remember. He gave us information even on sites we were visiting without him and answered every question we had. His tips to the times we were on our own were perfect and even when we asked for stopping for visiting a store, he always abstained from pressuring us to purchasing anything. Like our previous guide his English is perfect and he is friendly, patient and very courteous and we never felt we needed to bridge cultural gaps. He was always on time and we never felt he rushed to finish anything. The time with our group was ours. Thank you Emil. And thank you Tailor Made tours. We wanted to visit Egypt our way, after investigating what was important for us and you tailored it to our wishes.

5.00It was our first time to Egypt and the ETM tour company managed our trip very well. We had hired a car for our family to visit sites at Luxor and Cairo. Our guide Shimiaa was very knowledged and shared lots about the history of Luxor. I would definitely recommend to have a guide when you visit the historical places as it holds lot of interesting facts and having a guide like Shimiaa will help us understand the history very well. Shimiaa was so patient in answering our questions and all those my kids kept constantly asking her. She’s very good and friendly with kids. She was patient and gave us time to finish our tour at our own pace. Our driver Karm was very friendly and went out of the way to drive us to places for lunch even after the tour for the day had ended. Our guide Mahdy at Cairo was very friendly and ensured we visited all the important places.

Our guide Mr. Tayeb possesses a natural flair for storytelling , weaving historical facts, local myths, and private anecdotes into a rich tapestry that brought the pharaonic times to life. Tayeb has answered all our questions, and there were a lot, thoughtfully and accurately, providing us with a lot of information and insides into the pharaonic / dynasties period. Tayeb is a problem solver, and he anticipated our needs before we even ask. Moreover, Tayeb has a knack for capitalizing on special moments – and here we would like to thank you again for the most stunning sunset we have ever seen. Hand over your your phone/camera to him and he creates amazing pictures with you saving this special moments for you to be re experienced in the future. Tayeb went to great lengths to provide us with experiences much beyond our expectations, and we cannot thank him enough for his dedication.
