To be able to show you as much of this giant borough as possible, we are using public transport three times on the tour, but this will give you time to sit down and take a break between exploring the various neighborhoods on foot.

The restored Stamba Hotel was immediately attention-grabbing for its skillful refurbishment of a Soviet-era publishing house and the selection of diverse food options on the ground floor was amazing! When we began the walking tour, we had a quick synopsis of Georgia's history. Strolling from one neighborhood to the next we got a real sense of the 6 neighborhoods and their relevant buildings, and the history of each one. I liked the fact that stage actors, opera singers, and movie performances are appreciated. I encourage anyone who arrives in Tbilisi to do this tour with to get an understanding of the life and culture of this beautiful city and its wonderful people

George is amazing! Excellent communication before, during, and after tour. Great city history knowledge. Easy going and fun. We started at a coffee shop he loves, (which he even gave us a tour of), we got to know him and each other a little before setting out. He checked several times during the tour to make sure there was nothing we read about that he hadn’t shown us ( or would be). He offered and texted us many suggestions for restaurants and other places to visit. The days pace was good, I never got tired. We saw all the major sites I read about in the heart of Tbilisi and many more! George is very concerned about his guests. He even made sure the driver he had pick us up was friendly and nice! If you are new to Tbilisi and want to see all you can and learn all you can in 1 day- take this tour! You will love it!
