What To Expect
Galle Dutch Fort
Galle is a major city of Sri Lanka which is located at the south coast. The distance from Colombo to Galle is 119km and driving hours will approximately 2 and half hours. This beautiful Coastal city is a major tourist destination of Sri Lanka and has beautiful pristine beaches. There are many sightseeing around Galle and the major hot spot is "Galle Dutch Fort". This fort was originally built by Portuguese in 1588 and fortified by Dutch in 1649. Galle Dutch fort is one of most well preserved Colonial forts in the world. When you visit this place, you will see there is an active small town inside the fort and you will see most of buildings are colonial styles. Some of buildings were built by Portuguese, Dutch & British. There are lot of colonial Boutique style hotels, restaurants and pubs inside the fort. During our Galle Day tour, you will visit the one of world famous beach "Unawatuna Beach", visit a sea turtle hatchery and other interesting sightseeing.

5.00Dhilan was awesome! Hosted my friends and I (22 of my traveling friends) who went on a mystery trip to Sri Lanka! He was so amazed of our excitement for the experiences but we were an awe at his level of customer service and phenomenal tour guide. He taught us so much, made us laugh and always kept his word. He followed through, he was on time, and even made sure everyone was comfortable. We had such a great time with Dhilan! Thank you so much for the cherry on top experiences!

5.00I spent 6 days with this travel group and honestly had a great time. They were flexible, easygoing, and really seemed to care about giving us a good experience. Our main guide did a great job showing us his country—he introduced us to the local food, culture, and was always happy to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot!). One thing I really appreciated was how they handled our group’s different interests. Some people wanted to take a cooking class while others wanted to shop for spices and souvenirs, and they found a way to make it all work without anyone feeling rushed or left out. That kind of flexibility made the whole trip feel really personalized. Overall, it was a fun, smooth, and memorable trip. Would definitely recommend them!

5.00Booked a day trip to Galle- the coastal town in Sri Lanka with Traumland Tours and the booking was last minute but it was confirmed by the team within ten minutes. I was driven & guided by Mindika, the chauffeur guide from Traumland Tours. He was a perfect tour guide and a travel mate. Educated me about everything about Sri Lanka during my day. Since this is my first trip to Sri Lanka and i only stayed 5 days in Colombo, i had no any idea about Sri Lanka. But Mindika provided lots of details about the country and its uniqueness. The trip to Galle was fantastic. He did a perfect guiding tour to Old Dutch Town in Galle. Not only that but he was so kind enough to bring me to a Child Orphanage and a school as i made him a request regarding those additional places. I was so happy to bring me there without any additional cost. His service made me to come back to Sri Lanka for more days to explore the tourist highlights in the country. Definitely on the must do list and will bring my family to this beautiful country. Thank you Mindika and Traumland Tours for making my day more than i expected. Hope to see you soon.

5.00After reading the good reviews, I decided to book a 12 day Enchanting Tour with Traumland Tours and it should be the most beautiful holiday I have had so far. Dilhan and his colleague Tharindu were excellent travel companions. Dilhan organized the trip perfectly and also fulfilled special requests. He is a safe and exemplary driver in a comfortable car. He speaks perfect German and English. I have seen a lot of Sri Lanka and learned about the story. Dilhan knows very well. We did a Yala safari tour and saw a lot of animals, the Sigiriya rock impressed me especially, furthermore we visited ancient sites and waterfalls. Dilhan knows exactly what his customers want and fully adapts to them. We were able to relax in the luxury hotels he chose and which were also perfect. I would book again and again with Traumland Tours and can only recommend this, who wants a nice holiday, can rely on Dilhan and his team. I will definitely come back. Thank you Dilhan for this lovely holiday.

5.00Traumland Tours offered us a well organized comfortable seperate day tours to Galle and Udawalawe national park. We were picked up from Shangri La Hotel Colombo by the driver guide of Traumland Tours Mr Lasantha as planned ( he was very punctual ) and had very comfortable transportation service to both destinations. Lasantha is an excellent guide who has a good knowledge abour Sri Lanka. Also he speaks fluent English. Both day tours, were perfectly organized by Traumland Tours. We enjoyed a lot and do not hesitate to highly recommend This company to everyone who is looking for a personalized comfortable tours in Sri Lanka.

5.00Had a very nice day with a visit to Galle It was an educational day as well. Galle with the Dutch influences of yesteryear was very special to see. Street names do were known etc. And the ramparts were nice to do walk The Cozy Mood was a plus Thanks to our guide Hats off to him. Then afterwards walked past an old Reformed church It was very soothing and beautiful From the ramparts you can see the sea and that gives even more Mood The National Maritime Museum was educational We will be back Again Estuti
