Whilst browsing through the tour options (advertised in English websites) this was one of very few which focused on exploration of most of the main sites of the island, instead of more limited specific activities. We are very satisfied by choosing this one. It seems mainly targeted to visitors from cruise ships, but were offered a pick-up from right next to our hotel (close to the centre of Ishigaki town). The guide/driver was very friendly, was speaking perfect English and was very well informed about the sights and the island as a whole. Very concentrated, yet not exhausting tour programme, covering even more sights than the description promised (e.g. we got opportunity to visit also the stalactite caves). No annoying stops at "tourist shops" and the itinerary up to extent could be adjusted to the tour group's preferences. Highly recommended!

Sander was one of best organized tour guides I have ever had!! He had water, snacks and even made a video about the island. He stopped for all special request and always gave us choices of what to do on the tour. The actual tour was fantastic Sander spoke English perfect and was a very fun guy. I would highly recommend this excursion. I can’t say enough positive things about Sander except he’s a 5 plus star!

Sander is amazing in his knowledge of Ishigaki island in terms of history, nature and way of life in Ishigaki. He is a fantastic guide and does everything and more. You can’t ask for more. Absolutely the best guide we have encountered in our many trips and tours. We enjoyed the tour very much and had great time while coming back the ship on time.

We had a fantastic experience with Ishigaki Island Tours, thanks to our guide, Sander. He was upbeat, friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island. The day was wonderfully planned with a wide range of activities—from interacting with adorable Bolivian monkeys and visiting a traditional island house to hiking up to a lighthouse and an observation building for stunning scenic views. We also enjoyed beautiful beaches and a relaxing glass‑bottom boat ride where we could see the fish clearly beneath us. The pacing was perfect. We never felt rushed, yet we still returned to our ship with a comfortable buffer of time. Sander kept us well taken care of with plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the day, which was such a considerate touch. I’m very glad I booked with this company and am happy to recommend Ishigaki Island Tours to anyone visiting the island. It was an excellent experience from start to finish.

This was the best day with Sander…we only had 6 hours and we had the best tour. We felt like we saw the whole island and never felt rushed. Our van was stocked with the best snacks, drinks and coffee. We fed the monkeys, went on the glass bottom boats, saw the local artisans, best lookout points, beaches, parks and caves. Couldn’t have topped this day total 5 star tour for sure.

It was a very nice tour. Our guide was very friendly, told us a lot and drove us in addition to very great places that were not on the schedule at all. We can highly recommend this tour.

For a concise & comprehensive tour of Ishigaki Island with an English speaking guide, I could not have picked a better tour. Sander, our guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. You could tell he was trying to show as much of Ishigaki as possible within the limited time frame. Despite the cloudy & windy conditions, we were able to see much of the island and its beautiful views. He was very kind and considerate to my 96 yr old mother, who often stayed in the Van, while the rest of us walked up to a view point or down to the beach. He also provide lots of excellent snacks & drinks during the tour. For those short on time but want to see as much as possible, this is the tour.

Great tour experience covering all major sites on Ishigaki Island. Sander was a great tour guide and really went out of his way to ensure we all had a great time. The vehicle had a screen showing the sites and explanations of some of the areas we were visiting. Also Sander had a great snacks on board ensuring we were never hungry. Overall highly recommend this tour when visiting Ishigaki Island. This tour was in English.
