What To Expect

Your day begins with a convenient hotel pick-up and a private boat transfer where you'll head straight to your already reserved beach chairs. Relax and swim in the crystal clear waters before feasting on a delicious Caribbean lunch at a local beachfront restaurant or at your beach chairs. You'll be led by your guide along a designated hiking path with scenic trails, where you'll take in stunning panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. 5.00We had an amazing experience with Discover Paradise Water Excursions! Our tour guide, Nick, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire trip. He shared interesting information about the area and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The snorkeling was fantastic, with beautiful underwater scenery and plenty of marine life to see. The hike was equally enjoyable, offering stunning views and a great opportunity to explore the island. Nick's enthusiasm and expertise made the experience even more memorable. If you're looking for a fun, well-organized excursion with an excellent guide, I highly recommend Discover Paradise Water Excursions and Nick. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00I had the best experience yesterday. Nick was great! I was the only person on the tour, so he carried my bag and provided me with water throughout the trip. We hiked, we went snorkeling, and fed the iguanas. The ferry is quick. Although there was seaweed at the dock, you will not see it at Pinel. The water is beautiful. The food at the Yellow Beach restaurant was delicious. Having the personalized service, and getting picked up right from my hotel was well worth it. Thank you, Nick!

4.00I'm giving this a 4/5 because we were picked up in a van with no A/C. Being in a van with 8 people for over an hour in the heat was brutal. Otherwise, the day at Pinel was fantastic. Our guide waited on us hand and foot, even bringing drinks to us in the water (drinks not included). We got to feed iguanas and one tortoise. Ordering the lunch package is not necessary, as you can go to the restaurant and eat whenever. Overall, I think there are definitely better beaches on St. Martin, but this was a fun day in the sun.

5.00This was such an amazing excursion! Nick was my tour guide. He picked me up promptly at 9am. It was a really short drive to the dock. Nick escorted me straight to the front of the line and my seat on the boat was waiting for me. The boat ride was great! It’s a really quick trip to the island. The island is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The water is AMAZING! Nick had my beach chair and umbrella reserved with premium seating with GORGEOUS views. I relaxed and sunbathed while Nick served me fresh fruit, delivered my cocktails to me, constantly provided me with cold bottled water. Lunch was DIVINE! I had grilled red snapper. I feed iguanas and turtles and Nick captured great photos for my memories. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this activity. I had a private driver, beach butler, tour guide and photographer all in one! Thank you Discover SXM for a fantastic experience!

5.00Pinel Island is a truly special place and should be on your itinerary when visiting St. Martin. This tour is unique- unlike anything we’ve done in all our travels. Nick is a true professional while being very down to earth. I felt like a VIP. Nick cleared the way and we had anything we wanted without a wait. The lunch was truly delicious. The grouper was outstanding as was the red snapper. The hike is perfect in both its duration and difficulties (it’s not difficult) and there’s a beautiful view at the top. Nick knows exactly when to leave you alone and when to ask if you are ready for another drink. Pinel Island was quiet the day we were there so it made for a peaceful beach day. I’m not a fan of laying on a beach and this day was perfect for me.

5.00I had an awesome experience with SXM Tours! I realized I was the only one who booked the tour the day, I truly felt like a VIP. Nick picked me up and we skipped the lines at the ferry. Upon getting on the island, we were the first group so we got first dibs on seating. I liked the seating Nick chose for me. I was constantly asked if I wanted water and he even swapped out the warmer one for a cool one. The fruit bowl was refreshing and the meal was nice. I didn’t snorkel but I did swim and I did the hike. Overall a great experience, would recommend and the pictures were a great touch!
