Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, about 75 kilometers from Beijing city, about 1.5 hours by car. As the most complete and longest section of the existing Ming Dynasty Great Wall, the Great Wall, beacon tower, arrow hole and other relics are well preserved here, which can let you truly feel the ancient style and historical changes of the Great Wall. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is meandering between high mountains, with lush vegetation and varied scenery throughout the four seasons. Pick-up on the day was perfect, our hotel was a little difficult to get to but driver Leo managed to get there anyways to pick us up. He got us the tickets and fast entry at the Mutianyu Wall. 5.00Such a fantastic trip from start to finish. Linda messaged me prior to the trip confirming all details and the itinerary. The driver picked me up on time and was very welcoming. Jessica was my guide and she was fantastic, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It was an amazing experience and well worth the early morning start as there were hardly any queues, and the toboggan down was so much fun.
