Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, about 75 kilometers from Beijing city, about 1.5 hours by car. As the most complete and longest section of the existing Ming Dynasty Great Wall, the Great Wall, beacon tower, arrow hole and other relics are well preserved here, which can let you truly feel the ancient style and historical changes of the Great Wall. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is meandering between high mountains, with lush vegetation and varied scenery throughout the four seasons. The transfer was smooth and comfortable, and our guide shared lots of interesting background information and stories that made the experience even more meaningful. 5.00Linda and Alvin was very kind, attentive, and an excellent host. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them. Excellent service! He guided us through everything and accompanied us at all times. He took us to the transportation indicated in the reservation, provided us with a cooler, accompanied us to the restaurant for lunch, took us shopping, and was very patient and cheerful! He also gave us a cooler, and we were very grateful!

5.00Alvin was a great driver and guide, he was knowledgable about the Great Wall of china and showed us exactly where we needed to go to get up the cable cart. He also took some amazing photos of us up at the wall. He ensured to give us as much time as we wanted up there and waited for us at the bottom. He also took us to an amazing dumpling spot after we got down from the wall. Would definitely recommend the tour and Alvin!

5.00What an amazing experience, Linda’s local knowledge was invaluable. She collected us from our hotel, brought us to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and the following day she brought us to The Great Wall. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we couldn’t recommend Linda highly enough.

5.00The Great Wall has been on our bucket list for a while and this tour lived up to our dreams. Linda was our tour guide and driver for the Great Wall experience. She was excellent. 6 stars! She picked us up from our hotel at 8am and drove us to Mutianyu, which was about an hour and a half away. Linda made sure we knew what to do and where to go through the entire process. Some of the workers at the wall knew her so I can tell she is well liked and takes tours to the Great Wall frequently. She used WhatsApp to correspond before and the day of. We went on 1/1, which is a holiday, but we did not have a wait to get in. It was cold but minimal ice or wind. Linda walked with us for a good portion of the section and took pictures of us. She then let us explore on our own for as long as we wanted. We ended up going up to the Hero Station, which is as far up as you can go for this section of the wall. Since we had some time remaining with her, she took us to a jade store and also a tea store to do some shopping. I would recommend Linda to anyone looking for a comprehensive and comfortable time. She does more than just this tour too. We used her to book a ride to and from the airport and also a dinner reservation for Peking duck. She can do forbidden city, temple of heaven and other experiences as well. Just reach out to her.
