We had a great time during the Ubud tour. Gusti, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us detailed information about the Balinese culture. He was also very courteous understanding of our needs during the tour. We had an amazing time at the Bali swings, and rice terraces. Gusti was also fabulous photographer who captured many lovely family moments for us! Thank you, Gusti for making this trip so memorable for us.

We had the most amazing experience on my recent tour with Agung! From the moment we met, they were welcoming and enthusiastic, making us feel comfortable and excited about the journey ahead. Agung was incredibly funny, knowledgeable, sharing fascinating personal stories and insights about the places we visited. His passion for the area and its history truly shone through, making every stop feel special. I appreciated how he took the time to engage with everyone of us, especially Levi our 5yo son, answering questions and accommodating our individual interests. The tour was well-organized and flowed seamlessly, allowing us to make the most of our time together. The personal touches and little surprises along the way made the experience even more memorable. Thank you, Agung, for an unforgettable adventure! I can't recommend you highly enough and look forward to joining another tour in the future!

  • Best Way to get to Know Bali

I can't give this tour enough stars. My fiancé was at a bachelor party so I was a little apprehensive to do a private tour as a solo traveler. When I met my tour guide, Bagus, I was astounded by how kind, generous, and knowledgeable he was. We visited theTegenungan waterfall which was stunning and filled with the most beautiful butterflies. Then I got to visit a traditional Balinese home where Bagus educated me on many of the fascinating aspects of Balinese home life and culture. We went to a coffee, tea, and chocolate farm where I was able to see production from plant to finished product. I was also able to try numerous amazing coffees and teas and it was nearly impossible for me to only pick a few that I could fit in my suitcase! On top of that...I got to pet a Luwak cat (the artisan of kopi luwak coffee) and purchase some of this coveted coffee as well. The next stop, Tirta Empul Temple, was the most beautiful temple I have ever seen with the most ornate statues and shrines. Bagus then took me to a local restaurant where I had fantastic traditional food and a delicious dessert recommended by him. At the restaurant, there was a giant swing that went out over the jungle which I was able to use while Bagus and a photographer took pictures. Finally, we finished the day off with the Tegalalang rice terraces where Bagus taught me about irrigation and farming in Indonesia. Throughout this whole experience, Bagus was taking incredible photos of me on my phone whenever either of us saw a good opportunity. He went above and beyond by answering my Neverending questions and even buying me local fruits (snakeskin fruit was my favorite!). I really can't recommend this tour enough, but the tour would not have been nearly as special without Bagus and I will forever be greatful I was able to experience Bali for my first time in this way! Helpful Tips *Sarongs are provided in the temples where they are needed *Rain and weather conditions (especially in the rainy season) can affect portions of the tour. I.E. the monkey forest closes in heavy rain and wind. Prepare for rain or sun accordingly. *The tour is pretty flexible depending on what you want to see so talk to your guide about the plan for the day! *Bring enough cash. Tipping is not expected, but it is appreciated. I wish I had more cash for tips by the end of my tour.
