Welcome to the must visit of Almaty - Shymbulak mountain resort. Shymbulak is the highest resort in Cental Asia. Enjoy the view of the mountains and fresh air in 3200meters.
You can additionally try skiing with instructor for additional fee
For hiking lovers we will go up to the natural created ice wall - Bagdanovich glacier (from december to february)

What To Expect
Medeu Skating Rink and Ski resort
Medeu is a famous outdoor ice skating rink located in the mountains near Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is one of the highest ice rinks in the world, situated at an altitude of about 1,691 meters above sea level. Medeu was built in 1972 and has become a symbol of Almaty.
Shymbulak
Enjoy with the view to Shymbulak mountain resort, which is located just 20 minutes from city. Visit 3200meters high mountain just with cable car. You can also take ski lessons there

5.00We had an amazing experience exploring Almaty, including the beautiful mountains of Shymbulak and the city tour around Almaty. The views at Shymbulak were absolutely breathtaking, and the city itself is vibrant, clean, and full of interesting history and culture. A special thanks to our tour guide, Alibi, who made the entire trip truly unforgettable. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about both the mountain area and the city attractions. He explained everything clearly and shared many interesting facts that made the tour more meaningful and enjoyable. His English was excellent, which made communication easy and comfortable for us. He was attentive, patient, and ensured that everyone had a great time throughout the tour. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Alibi as your guide. It was a wonderful and memorable experience!

5.00Our Almaty city tour became truly special thanks to our guide, Sayazhan. She was not only knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city, but also very warm and attentive to us. She explained everything with passion and made us feel comfortable at every stop. Interestingly, her name means “Shadow,” and it felt symbolic — she was always there when we needed help, guidance, or a good story, but never intrusive. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see Almaty, we felt its spirit. I would honestly recommend her to anyone visiting the city.

5.00I definitely enjoyed the tour. My guide, Sabina, was really sweet and accommodating. And the agency even gifted me the entrance fee to Shymbulak Resort because it was my birthday. That really warmed my heart. I appreciate it very much. I would definitely recommend the agency to anyone planning to go here and have a tour in this beautiful country. 😊

Over several days, we visited stunning and culturally rich landmarks including Shymbulak Ski Resort, Republic Square, Panfilov Park, the vibrant Green Bazaar, and the local Chocolate Factory. She was also incredibly thoughtful, making sure we had plenty of photo opportunities and time to explore each site comfortably. As first-time visitors to Kazakhstan, we felt well taken care of and deeply connected to the local culture thanks to their guidance. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Almaty — whether you're into nature, food, history, or just want a stress-free and enriching experience.

3.00Good tour with small group. Guide was helpful. Only shymbulak and green Bazar to enjoy. Other places other itinerary are just other road like republic square, not really worth visiting

5.00Our shymbulak and Almaty city tour was amazing from start to finish . Shymbulaks mountain scenery was breathtaking and the city tour gave us a lovely mix of history and local highlights . Our guide Nurzhan made the journey special with their knowledge and kindness . Big appreciation to our driver Ghyani as well for being so safe, calm throughout the day. A beautiful experience n totally worth it .
