What To Expect
You will visit Almaty’s bustling Green Bazar, where the vibrant colors, rich scents, and lively sounds of local markets will get you to know a bit more about Kazakh life. From fresh produce to intricate handicrafts, the bazaar offers a mix of sights and smells that capture the essence of the city. Fresh local fruits, dried nuts, chocolate, milk and meat products are some of the authentic items to try here.
Rakhat Candy Factory
Located just next to the Green bazar, there is a famous Rakhat chocolate factory. The fragrant smell of chocolate spreads throughout the entire area. There is a nice shop where you can buy fresh products from the factory, including classic “Kazakhstan” chocolate, often used as a souvenir.

Dimash incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city, bringing its history and culture to life in a really enjoyable way. The pace was perfect, the route well thought out, and we learned so many interesting details we would never have discovered on our own. 5.00Nursultan is our guide for this tour. Nur is very friendly and take care everything to guarantee we enjoy our trip. From prebooking til the end of our tour, Nur shows us his enthusiasm about Almaty history, past and current and also nature scenes. Shymbulak is an option. I think it covers all the key points, from the city center to the natural beauty of the suburbs. Our guide, Nur-Sultan, spoke perfect English and gave accurate explanations based on the geographical and historical background. I would recommend this tour to first-time visitors to Almaty.

5.00city tour was good as the city has amazing history n our guide nursultaan had good knowledge of history . we saw the panfilov park ,zenkov cathedral ,arbat walking street . the green bazar was closed as it was a public holiday .i recommend guide nursultaan who speaks good english n explains everything patiently and is very friendly and accommodating us
