Your guide will also be the driver of the air-conditioned minivan that will pick you up in Colmar at 9am for this 8-hours tour. Along the wine route and the beautiful vineyards, you will discover such picturesque charm in the villages, which are all very colorful and unique. Passing through all those vineyards might make you thirsty so the tour includes a tasting of the different wines in a typical wine cellar.

What To Expect
Vieille ville d'Eguisheim
Enjoy a pickup and transfer from Colmar before taking a day tour through the Alsace in a comfortable minivan. Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique. You will make a stop at the four wonders of the Alsace as they are called. The first one is Eguisheim, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
Route des Vins d'Alsace
Then drive further along the Alsatian Wine Route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation. To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, pinot gris, pinot blanc and many more.

5.00Of the four wonders visited, the one that most impressed me was Kaysersberg, for its unique beauty and charming atmosphere. I wish I had had more time to explore every detail of this special village. The other locations were also very interesting, as they reveal an older time, full of history and tradition, allowing us to travel back to the past and feel the essence of Alsace. A very special highlight goes to our guide Didier, which was exceptional. He showed us the beauty of these locations with great knowledge and passion, enriching every moment of the visit. In the end, during the tests, he also demonstrated a profound knowledge about the wines of the region, making the experience complete and unforgettable.

The guide gave have us a walking tour through each village describing the history, architecture, customs of the area and fork lore, very informative. Nice authentic Alsatian lunch in Riquewihr, and ended with the nicest wine tasting experience at a private winery. Great value and quality, I recommend this tour
