The beauty of the Alsace and its four wonders will be shared with you in this small group tour of up to 7 people. Your guide will also be the driver of the air-conditioned minivan that will pick you up in Colmar at 9am for this 8-hours tour. Along the wine route and the beautiful vineyards, you will discover such picturesque charm in the villages, which are all very colorful and unique. Passing through all those vineyards might make you thirsty so the tour includes a tasting of the different wines in a typical wine cellar.

What To Expect
Vieille ville d'Eguisheim
Enjoy a pickup and transfer from Colmar before taking a day tour through the Alsace in a comfortable minivan. Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique. You will make a stop at the four wonders of the Alsace as they are called. The first one is Eguisheim, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.

Then drive further along the Alsatian Wine Route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation. To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, pinot gris, pinot blanc and many more.

5.00We chose this small group tour because of the wine tasting option and the villages included. We had six people in our group - 3 in my party and 3 in another - which was perfect for moving around at a good pace and being able to have a conversation with our guide, Laura. Laura was very accommodating and flexible with all of us. She even looked up the hours of operation for a certain Christmas Shop we wanted to visit and allowed us extra time. The villages we visited were stunning and she shared fun historical facts with us. We never felt rushed. The tasting was fantastic - more than I ever expected. Please note that this is not a winery tour but a tasting in a winery. Very casual and fun.

5.00This was an amazing experience, the most in-depth tour I've ever been on, a true delight. As someone who is passionate about Alsace and who worked in tourism, I was so impressed by our guide, Christian, a true Alsacian, a man who truly knows and loves this exceptional land. And that's what makes this an exceptional tour. I can honestly attest that after travelling to more than 40 countries and over 100 regions, Alsace is one of the best places one can ever visit and this is one of the best tours one can ever be on. At least for me, that's what I felt and I am very grateful. The price is also amazing, here in Canada this tour would cost probably 5 times more for twice or thrice as less. And don't even get me started on the wine ! :) If I'm ever back to this region, and I might, because it's quite superb, I will try to take another tour with the same guide. Rarely we see nowadays people truly passionate about their work and this is one of those rare few, secret gem tours. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passionate about Alsace !
