With your expert guide, drive through rolling, vine-coated hills to explore the picturebook town of Colmar and cobbled village of Eguisheim. Then, delve into the medieval, walled village of Riquewihr and follow the famous Alsace Wine Route. Continue to your last stop at the fairytale-like, 12th-century fortress of High Koenigsbourg. Numbers are limited to eight people on this small-group tour, so you can enjoy an in-depth experience.

Haut Koenigsbourg castle : visit of the castle can be challenging (this tour includes some great deal of walking and Alsace villages have still a large number of cobblestone streets. The visit of Haut Koenigsbourg castle includes walking and quite a number of stairs. This tour is definitely not recommended for persons with limited mobility)
During Christmas period : The tour returns to Strasbourg, just outside the Grande-Ile district, with the exact address to be arranged with the guide.

5.00Our day was great. Every detail was taken care of. Our guide was amazing. We got to understand the history with fun stories and we got a little alone time to wander & shop. The castle was super interesting and a great way to end the day!

The shared food experience, the signs in both languages were most special! Also, the Bartholomi Statue of Liberty creator is rich in history here with the original! Carlos guided us in this adventure in a perfect way, enriching everything with very valuable information, as well as detailed, but above all he made the Tour extremely enjoyable. 3.00Our driver was very nice but gave no “tour”. We got to all of the destinations but received bed no walking tour in Colmar or any information/history about the beautiful cities we visited. We love all the places but paid to also have a tour guide. That made it disappointing

5.00Fast paced with lots of walking but we were able to see three towns and a castle in one day and still get back to Strasbourg in time to enjoy dinner. Carlos was full of historical facts!

5.00I took the Alsace Colmar, Medieval Villages & Castle Small Group Day Trip from Strasbourg in October led by Jerome. There were eight of us from the US, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. I couldn't recommend it enough! It's the perfect kind of a tour to really get a sense of a region. Jerome was highly knowledgeable and kept us interested talking about the rich history of the region as he drove us to different towns and then toured around them. In a couple places we even had some free time to explore on our own. The group was friendly and interactive with each other as we walked around... it's so nice to get to chat with other travelers as you explore new places. I was on my own and felt completely comfortable with the group. Lots of walking, and climbing stairs at the castle, but totally doable. A complete highlight of my three days in Strasbourg.

He was absolutely fantastic- pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, excellent driver, offered a wealth of information on the tour of each town and answered all questions patiently. Even while driving us he pointed out places of interest along the route. The 3 towns we visited were so very interesting and beautiful.
