Haut Koenigsbourg castle : visit of the castle can be challenging (this tour includes some great deal of walking and Alsace villages have still a large number of cobblestone streets. The visit of Haut Koenigsbourg castle includes walking and quite a number of stairs. This tour is definitely not recommended for persons with limited mobility)
During Christmas period : The tour returns to Strasbourg, just outside the Grande-Ile district, with the exact address to be arranged with the guide.

5.00Our tour guide was Jerome V. He was absolutely fantastic- pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, excellent driver, offered a wealth of information on the tour of each town and answered all questions patiently. Even while driving us he pointed out places of interest along the route. The 3 towns we visited were so very interesting and beautiful.

3.00Our guide was Roman. He’s very friendly but you’re not going to get many details from him. The overall tours with the towns, you’re on your own. We didn’t really learn much about them. In Colmar, the tour described a guided tour, but we were just dropped off. When we arrived at the castle, Roman did arrange a nice detailed tour with a guide there named Fiona. He was a safe driver and with this tour we appreciated not having to drive there, especially to the castle where parking was non existent.

5.00Absolutely loved our day tour with Jerome V.! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the history, the culture, the foods, wines, languages etc. He transformed a drive in Alsace, to a memorable experience. His love and knowledge of the region became contagious. We were together for some 9 hours and he accommodated every wish. I believe the tour company hit a home run with the tour of 3 Alsace cities, the castle and this tour guide.

1.00Roman was the worst tour guide we have ever had. He would pull up to a stop and tell us to get out and bark directions in about 30 seconds where to go and when to return.

5.00We loved walking through all of the villages. The history of the homes and the preservation was enlightening. The castle was rustic and Carlos knew a lot of the history. Would recommend.
