I had a wonderful experience on this tour. It was very enjoyable, educational and interesting. The food and lodging was also excellent. I cannot say enough good things about my tour guide, Tom, who was so courteous, knowledgeable and diligent. He really extended himself to ensure that I had a great experience. Our driver, Jerry, was excellent as well. Thank you!

Amazing and immersive experience into the history and culture of the region with our tour guide Nam. (Excellent driver too making the journey very comfortable!) Spectacular scenery complimented with very interesting commentary which provided a lively narrative to all that we saw. The cycling, hikes, caves, boat trip and insights to village life were great fun too. Very good authentic food along the way all made the tour a unique experience - highly recommend !!

We had two guides: Nam and Phil. They were super amazing and made the trip so smooth for our family. We have two kids (ages 6 and 8) and they were so flexible to their needs. We had so much fun exploring, trekking and swimming. Mai chau was amazing and the resort we stayed at was called Avana Retreat which was a highlight for all of us. The areas we went to were so different from what we were used to and they made the trip so much more comfortable for us from the food to experiences. I really recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the countryside and beautiful views!

Lovely local tour in Mai Chau and Pu Luong, with Nam as our very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide (and greet photographer) and Mr. D. as our smooth driver in a comfortable vehicle. The tour is nice as it is comfortable, the accommodation provided is excellent and all-over the organisation is perfect. It also felt quite authentic with spots that are not so touristy yet, such as the bat cave in puolong. Given that the tour is 3 days, I felt that perhaps the amount of activities could be a bit higher. On the other hand, not having too much activities also allowed for not having to wake up super early and enjoying the pool and other facilities at the beautiful resort. This also made the tour give it a bit of a 'holiday' vibe, away from the busy city life. We were unlucky that there was no local market on the Tuesday we were around, likely because the locals were harvesting rice. Perhaps the market would have enhanced the overall experience, as for example now the last day only included visiting a waterfall (which was nice but for me not the most et impressive I have seen). At all places, meals were provided so at no point did I feel hungry. While not all meals were equally good, overall the food experience was good.

We (2 couples) had a great time touring Mai Chau and Pu Luong with our fantastic guide, Nam. From pick up at our hotel in Hanoi to our return, it was a very positive experience. The vehicle was clean and so very comfortable. Our driver was great! The activities were well organised and very fun. From cycling around the rice paddy fields, to visiting remote villages, trying our hand at weaving, hiking through the gorgeous countryside and climbing into caves and around the waterfall - it was all fantastic. Nam took such good care of us and passed along his knowledge of the natural area, the peoples and their traditions and customs, plus he is such a fun and kind person. He arranged everything beautifully- like always having bottles of water available, arranging comfort stops along the way and being very clear with what we were doing and when. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular! The food was good and very plentiful. Nam also took loads of great photos for us so that we have some great memories of our tour. We are so glad we did this tour and that Nam was our guide. What a great experience!
