Khao Sok National Park
Khao Sok National Park is a nature reserve in southern Thailand containing dense virgin jungle, towerlike limestone karst formations and the man-made Cheow Lan Lake. It’s home to rare species such as the giant parasitic Rafflesia flower, hornbill birds, gibbons and tigers. The park can be explored by elephant-back safari, hiking trail, and raft, canoe or kayak via the Sok river.

5.00Wonderful experience! Such a beautiful lake and scenery. The operator did an excellent job showing us the sites along the way. The cave spot was really cool but slippery so wear sneakers or non-slick sandals. Flip flops not recommended. The lunch stop was good and filling. We really enjoyed having time afterwards to swim in the lake. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Very motivated, friendly and funny travel companion. We really enjoyed the day. Especially the nature around the lake was breathtaking. Although it rained a bit, the clouds surrounded the rocks with a mystical shell. A beautiful sight.

5.00The day with Boo, our guide, was varied, exciting and beautiful. The weather wasn’t quite so good, but Boo was well prepared and had rain ponchos for us. After visiting Emerald Pond in the middle of the jungle, we continued to Khao Sok National Park, the reservoir for the great view and then by boat across the reservoir to Pra Kai Petch Cave, where there were many stalactites and mites as well as bats. Afterwards we went by boat to the restaurant on stilts for a delicious lunch. Afterwards we took a swim in the lake before we went back to the van by boat and then 'home'. It was a great trip, where we were able to collect many impressions again.

4.00This was a well organised trip with our driver arriving as expected from our hotel in khao lak. The drive was pleasant to pick up the guide and other travellers before arriving at the pool part. This felt a bit tight for time and after the short boat tour there was only 15 minutes left for swimming, but it was still a nice experience. The lake trip was good and it was great that our guide provided ponchos as it was a bit rainy and windy. The cave was quite nice - not as developed as most and the food at the floating restaurant plentiful. Due to the weather we didn't swim at the restaurant. Overall it was a good trip and the guide Ron was a great host.

5.00Outstanding trip for the money considering the amount of drive time to get there. This is a really nice full day trip. The variety of the day is a great mix. Boat ride, swimming, bat cave tour, late lunch on the water are all amazing. The scenery is breathtaking. Gay was an amazing tour guide. Fun and energetic. You can tell she loves her job.
