What To Expect
Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Adventure Co
Intensely gratifying Full Day Adventure into a cave! Hike to the cave entrance from the jungle starting point is approx. 35 minutes. Hike once inside the cave to the series of thundering waterfalls is approx. 45 minutes. Once at the waterfalls, your expert guides will gear you up for the 90 minute climb to the top of 6 or 7 total waterfalls- each pouring into exciting pools. Good physical stamina is required- no prior experience in caves or swimming is needed. Life Vests, Helmets & Headlamps are provided and MANDATORY. REQUIRED DRESS CODE: Light weight long pants (not jeans), t-shirts or long sleeved shirts, well threaded tennis or hiking boots (TEVAS, KEENS or Sandals of any kind are NOT PERMITTED FOR SAFETY REASONS). Ankle length Yoga Pants can work! DISCLAIMER: Caves Branch Guides reserve the right to approve or deny any person from participating if the required dress code is not followed. 5.00Ivan and Jason were great guides for our group of 10 ages 11-51 November 2022. Somehow our resort or the excursion company did not properly prepare us that we needed long pants but we were able to get them and still enjoy the full experience. We felt safe and they were very professional, helping the less experienced climbers in the group overcome challenging obstacles but never pressuring us to do anything we weren’t comfortable doing.

5.00We did the Waterfall Cave expedition, and even though my expectations were high, it exceeded them all! It was such an adventure and so much fun! Hector and Pablo were fantastic guides. We can't thank them enough for taking us on this tour and making it a blast. It was one of the highlights of our trip. If you are up for an adventure, this is it! Jumping off waterfalls in a cave is an unbeatable experience.
