35-minute "Jacob's Choice" is shown hourly, 10am - 5pm
45-minute Amish Homestead Tour is offered hourly, 10:45am - 4:45pm
Guests must provide a car seat for small children or babies on Farmlands Tour. ALL children must have a ticket. Parents may not hold or share a seat with children or babies.
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.
No pets allowed.
What To Expect
The Amish Experience
The Amish Experience at Plain & Fancy Farm SuperSaver package includes three activities. Amish Farmlands Tour: 90 minute guided Amish farmlands tour using our air-conditioned 14 passenger mini bus. A stop along the way for authentic Amish goods is included. Amish Experience Theater: 35 minute, five-screen, special-effect film called "Jacob's Choice." Follow a young Amish man as he decides whether or not to be Amish, and experience history through flash-backs in the film. Amish House and One-Room School: The Amish Country Homestead is a 45 minute guided walking tour of a replica Amish house and school on site at the Amish Experience.

5.00The tour van was comfortable and the sound system worked really well. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. We got to see a lot and ask all sorts of questions. We were a family of nine, six adults and three tween/teens. The kids all thought it was really neat. Highly recommend!

5.00One of the better tour experiences. What made it great was the intimacy and the knowledge of the guides. We did the super-saver activity. The bus ride was the highlight. The driver was great and took a detour to show an Amish farmer plowing his field with 6 mules. Everyone was very respectful of the Amish and their culture. The movie was good. The replica Amish home was enlightening. Overall a great experience.
