Enjoy three activities in one package at the Amish Experience! Located in the heart of Lancaster's Amish Country, the Super Saver includes the 90-minute guided Amish Farmlands Tour, critically-acclaimed film "Jacob's Choice" at the Amish Experience Theater, and the Amish Country Homestead & One-Room School.

Transportation by air-conditioned 14-passenger bus is provided on Farmlands Tour
90-minute Amish Farmlands Tour departs at 10am, 12pm, or 2pm
35-minute "Jacob's Choice" is shown hourly, 10am - 5pm
45-minute Amish Homestead Tour is offered hourly, 10:45am - 4:45pm
Guests must provide a car seat for small children or babies on Farmlands Tour. ALL children must have a ticket. Parents may not hold or share a seat with children or babies.
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.
No pets allowed.

What To Expect
The Amish Experience
The Amish Experience at Plain & Fancy Farm SuperSaver package includes three activities. Amish Farmlands Tour: 90 minute guided Amish farmlands tour using our air-conditioned 14 passenger mini bus. A stop along the way for authentic Amish goods is included. Amish Experience Theater: 35 minute, five-screen, special-effect film called "Jacob's Choice." Follow a young Amish man as he decides whether or not to be Amish, and experience history through flash-backs in the film. Amish House and One-Room School: The Amish Country Homestead is a 45 minute guided walking tour of a replica Amish house and school on site at the Amish Experience.

5.00The Amish Experience was everything we hoped for. Geoff, who had been doing tours with the company for 35 years, was friendly and informative. My teenage daughters and I watched the movie, toured the school and house, and took part in the bus tour. The experience took around 3 hours in total and groups were small. There was also a gift shop on site. I would certainly recommend the experience to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Amish.

5.00Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the Amish lifestyle and community. It gave me firsthand information about how they live and an educational experience as well. He was able to answer all of our questions. I also feel like he was respectful of the way how he shared information about the Amish community.

First our guide and driver Bruce Hammer takes us throughout Amish Country, pointing out one room schools, cemeteries, as well as farms being run in a traditional fashion. We stop at a farmstead which boasts cold drinks and a bunch of insanely cute animals, most notably mini-horses. When we return to base we watch an excellent interactive film, Jacob's Choice. Afterwards we head over to a representative Amish farmhouse, which also has a reconstructed Amish schoolroom. Bruce guides us through all three segments of our experience with tremendous expertise! His knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject is dazzling!

He is informative, knowledgeable about Amish history and culture. He is also very patient with us on every questions we raised . Highly recommended.

5.00My sister and I did the supersavor package deal. Our tour guide was great and very informative. We toured the farm lands, saw Amish at work , and got to stop for a hot pretzel and some shopping! The house and school room tour was interesting and the movie was very realistic with the effects .
