The evening canal cruise with Skipper Paap was my personal highlight during our last stay in Amsterdam. The start of the tour at 8:30 p.m. was a perfect fit, as we could experience such a beautiful sunset on the water. I especially appreciated that we had a private tour for four and gave Paap and in German information about the canals. Compared to the usual tours on larger boats in groups, Paap offers a lot more for a bit more money.

Absolutely book this tour! Paap was a fantastic guide - gave us all kinds of information about the city, its history, the architecture and so much more. This tour came highly recommended to us by a family member, and it did not disappoint. Marc was fantastic! He knows the canals in and out, took us on a 2 hour tour allowing us to see pretty much all of Amsterdam, and still made time for scenic photo stops. He even had candy and beverages on board. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a relaxing way to see Amsterdam in privacy.

There were six of us and we booked the 90-minute canal cruise in German. It was wonderful, a highlight during our city break! We started after dinner, which was perfect as there was not much going on on on the water anymore (this can be different in the afternoon). Our skipper, the boss himself, is totally nice, explained a lot to us and was able to answer all our questions. There were even free drinks on board. We really enjoyed the tour - a MUST in Amsterdam! Thanks for this great experience 🤩!!!
