5.00We had a wonderful experience on this cruise! Our guide Paap was great! NOT your typical "Here is building X built in 1678, here is building Y built in 1701... Blah, blah" Paap was SO knowledgeable about history and art and told lots of interesting stories. He was also funny and engaging and gave lots of recommendations for places to visit across the Netherlands. The canals were beautiful and we saw Amsterdam in a way we simply couldn't from the street. And the prosecco was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this tour!

4.00The cruise was great, we opted for the private cruise and it was worth it, just the two of us and we were able to listen closely / ask questions of the guide and have his full attention as well (I have done other group cruises in Amsterdam and it is difficult to get the attention of the guides, of course harder the bigger the group). This particularly mattered as we were interested in hearing something about the history / architecture / local sights we were passing by, and not only soaking in the sights and taking pictures (of course we did that too). Our guide was well-informed, spoke good English and had a wealth of little trivia about different buildings and history of Amsterdam to keep it interesting. The boat is covered - plus point if the weather is a bit off, as happened for us (some drizzle at times), and they have heated cushions on the seats that help when cold as well. Overall, very relaxing and comfortable cruise, good way to see some parts of Amsterdam if you aren't familiar with the city at all. Ours was the 60 minute tour, it seemed just right to us, although they offer 90-minute and 2 hour cruises too. They have some drinks included, but depending on time of day it may be wise to bring along yourself some packed lunch to eat on board, like a floating picnic along the canals.

5.00We booked a private canal tour and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Communication before and during the trip was excellent — everything was clearly explained. The guide was really friendly, informative, and shared some really interesting local history and hidden gems along the route. What made it truly special was the privacy. He gave us plenty of space and quiet moments to enjoy the scenery (and our own special moment!). If you’re looking for something romantic or just a more personal way to experience the canals, we highly recommend booking this private tour.

5.00We had a wonderful skipper, Lucas! The boat cruise was very relaxing with drinks provided. We brought on our own sandwiches and really enjoyed hearing about all the sites of Amsterdam from the water. There were 4 of us with plenty of room around the table. Lucas was on time and very informative.

5.00Went on a one hour cruise for two with Lucas. It was a lovely ride filled with plenty of beautiful scenes, fascinating information and fun conversations. Highly recommend as an alternative to crowded public tours which are often quite overstimulating and this is the best option in that category. Also wanted to mention the additional attention paid to safety by the captain who was very kind, respectful and engaging. Will do again!
