What To Expect
Centraal Station
Central station borders on the river 'het Y'. The place is so buzzing that there are no traffic rules. People have to find their own way without getting damaged. Suprisingly this works like a clock. You have to see it with your own eyes to believe it.
As of 1245 people all over the world came to visit Amsterdam Some came over the river Amstel. Many came over the see. Hannekes tree is and was the gateway for many old sailor. At night the city closed at Hannekes Tree.

5.00What a fun day with Esmee. A nice mix between better known and adventurous places and ditto stories. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she really connects with the people in the group. A special tour, I want more of them.

5.00By ferry we went to the NDSM island for a cup of coffee and a tour. Then towards the Jordaan via unexpected quiet and picturesque neighbourhoods. The stories of Esmee were very rewarding. The closing dinner at Esmee turned into a musical feast.
Amsterdam different and authentic.

5.00What a special day to experience Amsterdam in an alternative way with Esmee. Through her I discovered with a group of other participants the side of the city that is authentic, artistic monuments, art, history explained, architecture discussed along the way with humor and in an inspired and sympathetic way. Finally a delicious dinner the cozy home of our guide prepared by her herself! Highly recommended!

5.00Very pleasant and fun walk through a piece of Amsterdam that I didn't know well. Esmee is a warm and cheerful guide who gave nice information about the places we encountered on our walk. The dinner they served after the walk at her home was delicious.

5.00I had such a great walking tour with Esmee. She is a real story teller and knows a lot about the city. She takes you to places ‘off the beaten track’ and we had so much fun. She is an amazing cook as well so the combination of exploring beautiful parts of the city and a dinner at her charming house is just the best! If you are in town, make sure you book a walking tour and dinner with her!

5.00Esmee is a storyteller and tells anekdotes, streetstories, historic details about Amsterdam you can get from her as a woman of Amsterdam. The way we walked through the city is like a timecapsule in delay ( walkingspeed). I really enjoyed the whole walk and dinner at her house close to the Jordaan as a filmisch decor. I can certainly recommend her tour and dinner! Lovely Gerrald

5.00Esmee is dynamic and connecting the group quickly becomes friendly. She stimulates you during the walk with questions and fun historical facts. Also nice if you already know your city, you look with different eyes. Finally delicious food and everyone has become your friend. Feeling good going home.
