What To Expect

The Amstel is the biggest canal of all, and Amsterdam was founded from this canal which was originally a river. Fisherman builds a "dam" and called is Amsterdam.

3.00Crowded day we went on boat. Staff was friendly. Boat was comfortable. Had to stand in line in the hot sun. We did not see the need to purchase drinks or cheese while on a 1 hour ride.
DO NOT BOTHER very disorganised company. The worst I have seen in Europe.

2.00Do not bother with this disorganised company. Flagship Amsterdam. They ran 15 mins late to start our canal tour and only gave us 45 mins. The tour was meant to be an hour long. The girl on board told us they were running late due to waiting in cheese. The wine was warm and I was given a glass of ice. Told their fridges aren’t working. But there was no more available after that because they ran out. We paid for an unlimited drinks package yet we were given tiny glasses of wine and the service was very poor. DO NOT BOTHER POOR SERVICE.
