What To Expect
The Amstel
The Amstel is the biggest canal of all, and Amsterdam was founded from this canal which was originally a river. Fisherman builds a "dam" and called is Amsterdam.

5.00Natalia was a great host and gave us some interesting facts about the canals and houses around them. I would not buy the nibbles as it is basically a plate of cheese. Some biscuits with it would have been better with less cheese.

2.00The canal cruise itself was beautiful, but the 22 year old guide ruined the experience. She was more concerned with showing off, being cool and making lame jokes than with providing interesting information about Amsterdam. For an hour, it felt like listening to a know-it-all student instead of a guide. Super unprofessional and a bit of a pathetic display.

The unlimited drinks option was fantastic—great wine, local beers, and festive cocktails made it feel like a true holiday celebration.
