We will visit the iconic monuments of the area entertainingly, as you will be accompanied by a certified guide who speaks Spanish and English throughout the tour.

You will explore the cobblestone streets of La Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will visit the most emblematic places, including: La Merced Church Handicraft Market Santa Catalina Arch Compañía de Jesús Central Park Union Tank San Francisco el Grande Church Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by a certified English/Spanish guide. Remember to bring: Water Sunscreen Comfortable shoes Umbrella during the rainy season (May-October)

5.00Luis was an excellent guide who provided great food and café recommendations while answering all of my random questions concerning Guatemalan culture and the history of Antigua. He was also patient enough to let me practice my Spanish with him, even though the tour was in English. Great for a solo traveller wanting to learn about the history of Antigua.

5.00Luis is an excellent guide. We took this tour in our first full day in Antigua to orientate ourselves to the city and the history. Luis was very good at explaining the history, the Spanish and the church’s influence, the Mayans- the indigenous people of Antigua and even some of the architectural design and symbols that you see throughout the city. His English was easy to understand and he taught us some Mayan words. This is a small group tour. No more than 8 people which makes it very personal and easy to follow along. Luis a hard worker and a great guy.

5.00Great small group tour with 6 tourists and Luis as our guide. He shared a lot of history of the Mayan culture and Spanish influence from colonization. He even taught us some words in one of the 22 Mayan languages, recommended his favorite places to eat, and took pictures for me. His English was easy to understand. I’m glad I did this tour with Luis.
