This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. It tells the sad story of a beautiful Inca princess who, when she died, her husband deposited the body of his beloved in the bed of the lagoon, turning the color of the waters to emerald green, like the eyes of the princess.

Fun day. Nacho is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide and he and the driver Alexei are a great team. Amazing scenery and enjoyed the vineyard stop. Worth seeing more of the countryside.

This tour is a good way to get up into the mountains and get a sense of the county side around Santiago. The tour was not all it was presented to be because we did not go to the In Situ winery. To the guides credit she managed to get the wineries wine for us to taste at the Lama restaurant where all the tours stop to see Lamas, which was great. But the company selling the tours should know when a winery is not available, in this case Sundays, and not be deceitful in their marketing! Good trip nevertheless in spite of the disappointment.

  • Wonderful Tour with Hector!

Our guide, Hector, was amazing! He's so knowledgable and attentive. It shows that he truly goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable and having a good time. I love Hector!!! At the winery, Hector brought us raisins and chips. I normally don't like raisins, but these were incredible!! He showed us where they're made which is nearby the vineyard. During this tour, you learn so much about the history of Chile and visit several interesting landmarks on the way to the Andes Mountains. We went on this trip towards the end of March, so we didn't see any snow. However, it was still chilly up there so make sure to bring warm clothes! It sprinkled a bit too, but the food at Hotel Portillo was delicious and warmed us up. The Inca Lagoon was absolutely breathtaking too! I highly recommend this tour; it's definitely a must while in Santiago, Chile!

Excellent, thoughtful and respectful guide Ramses will take care of you on a day out to see some of the mountain scenery north of Santiago. Wine and Empanada also provided and free time at the Inca lagoon. Also a kind and safe driver Gaudi who has good musical tastes in the van. I was relieved to have such a good guide considering the unbearable loud one we had on the Valparaiso tour..

Miguel was an excellent guide. Very engaging and certainly knew his stuff. Wine tasting experience mid morning got the group talking nicely and the best part was driving up and then down the famous Las Coracoles. Picked up and dropped off right outside our accommodation. Brilliant day out!
