This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. It tells the sad story of a beautiful Inca princess who, when she died, her husband deposited the body of his beloved in the bed of the lagoon, turning the color of the waters to emerald green, like the eyes of the princess.

Excellent day tour out of Santiago! Winery, snacks, scenery, great drive up the serpentine road to Portillio ski area and beautiful lagoon. Also a stop with delicious epanadas. Ramses was a great tour guide and fluent in English as well as Spanish. And David was a skilled driver. They pick you up at your hotel. An enjoyable and informative day!

My sister and I wanted to book an excursion that would cover part of the andes with a wine tour and this was the perfect choice! Pablo was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly and even went the extra mile by sharing his top restaurant recommendations in Santiago, Chilean music to listen to (this was of much interest to me) and professional photos of the day! If you’re looking for a memorable day out with good company, I would highly recommend this tour!

What a wonderful tour, Francesca is an incredible guide - so informative and fun. We learned so much from her and her knowledge of history. We saw beautiful scenery, had delicious wine, fed some llamas, saw condors and the driver Rodrigo was excellent - we felt very safe on all 30 bends. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a tour with Carlos and Camilo, amazing experience, a trip between the history and culture of Chile, Camilo and Carlos were all the time at our disposal, pending any need, explaining all in the details with their skill and very grateful sympathy, with Camilo and Carlos! We definitely recommend some tours with Gianluca and Itala

This was such a superb trip. Both the driver and tour guide were exceptional; very organised and knowledgable as well as being very friendly. We loved the stunning landscape of the Andes and the beautiful lagoon. The visit to the llama farm was so much fun and we enjoyed having a group meal outdoors tasting the local Chilean wine.

Despite a very early start (6.30am) for traffic reasons, we had a fabulous day. As keen skiers, we were keen to see Portillo. We found it very interesting, especially the road to get there.😳 Camilo (guide) & Roberto (driver) provided informative commentary, several stops & safe passage. The winery tasting included (In Situ) was far superior to the tasting provided with our Val Pariso tour. We returned to our hotel around 3.00pm. Very enjoyable day.
