During this tour we visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on the ATV’s for about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation “La Azotea” located in city of Jocotenango. Once at La Azotea, you will receive a bilingual tour of the plantation where you are able to learn and see the various processes of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes into serving a good cup of coffee. The coffee tour in the plantation lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around the plantation with the local guide to see check out the plants and you could also grab a drink or snack. Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antigua’s most well-known and visited landmarks. After getting a close-up bird’s eye view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head back to our office.

You are unable to book a reservation only with a passenger rate; you must have a driver rate as well.
Youth with drivers license can drive their own ATV but have to book as an adult

What To Expect
Finca La Azotea
We visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation La Azotea. Once at La Azotea you will receive a in depth bilingual tour from the plantations guide, you will be able to see various process of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes to serve a good cup of JOE. The coffee tour lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around with our local guide.
Cerro de la Cruz
Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antiguas most well known and visited landmarks. Getting here is easier than taking the hundreds of steps, and we enjoy a bird's eye view of the colonial city.

5.00Had a great time doing the ATV coffee tour guide. Our guide was very helpful in teaching us the basics on how to start and drive the ATV while also taking us along a drive that was fun to drive. The coffee tour was great too as we got to see the entire coffee process from start to finish and also try some local samples. Would highly recommend!

5.00Lester was an amazing guide and very informative, I would highly recommend this tour. They go over the history of coffee farming in Guatemala, how the coffee plantation makes their coffee beans from planting seeds to the choice of soil, etc.

5.00Decided the morning of to book this tour and I’m glad that I did. It was cool riding around on the ATV. Getting up to the lookout without the climb was 10/10. The coffee farm was relaxing and informative. Our guide Edward was very friendly.

5.00This tour was so much fun. It was a great blend of riding four wheelers, sight seeing, and relaxing. We visited the cross the cross that overlooked Antigua and a coffee farm. Our tour guide Jose was so knowledgeable everywhere we stopped. I would highly recommend this tour! We had a group of 9 people and everyone had a blast.

5.00I booked this tour after doing an ATV experience in Atitlan through the same operator since I had a great time there. The instructions are prettty good as far as where to meet for the tours. The first stop is at a park at Cerro de la Cruz which has an incredible view of Antigua and volcan de Agua. The route there didn’t have too much traffic though the cobble stones do make the ride a bit bumpy. The views at the first stop were incredible. Next stop was the main attraction at the Finca Azotea which was beautiful and super informative. It also had some of the best coffee that I’ve had yet in Guatemala and the coffee shop was soooooo cute. You must also try the chocolate rum at the chocolate production portion of the tour. In total there were 3 of us and we had an amazing time and loved our guide. I’d highly recommend this tour.

5.00Had a great tour with Diego! Atv ride was through some medium-high traffic areas, but felt totally safe and was fun! Saw some other reviews mentioning the “hike” to Cerro de La Cruz, but it was really a very short walk and not too hilly. You take the ATV almost the whole way. It’s really not bad or even a hike at all.
