During this tour we visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on the ATV’s for about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation “La Azotea” located in city of Jocotenango. Once at La Azotea, you will receive a bilingual tour of the plantation where you are able to learn and see the various processes of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes into serving a good cup of coffee. The coffee tour in the plantation lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around the plantation with the local guide to see check out the plants and you could also grab a drink or snack. Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antigua’s most well-known and visited landmarks. After getting a close-up bird’s eye view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head back to our office.

You are unable to book a reservation only with a passenger rate; you must have a driver rate as well.
Youth with drivers license can drive their own ATV but have to book as an adult
What To Expect
Finca La Azotea
We visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation La Azotea. Once at La Azotea you will receive a in depth bilingual tour from the plantations guide, you will be able to see various process of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes to serve a good cup of JOE. The coffee tour lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around with our local guide.
Cerro de la Cruz
Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antiguas most well known and visited landmarks. Getting here is easier than taking the hundreds of steps, and we enjoy a bird's eye view of the colonial city.

5.00This was a fun activity to do in the afternoon with Roaldo! The ATV was easy to maneuver, learned more about how coffee is grown and processed in Guatemala, then finished the tour at Cerro de la Cruz lookout.

5.00This was a must do experience in Antigua! I have never driven an ATV and it was very easy and so fun. Our guide was awesome and was very informative. Stopped at Cerro de la Cruz and then drove through Antigua to Jocotenango to visit Finca La Azotea. Had a great tour learning about how coffee beans are grown, processed, and roasted. Then, we got to try their three different roasts. Additionally, we went to their chocolate factory and got a lesson on how cacao beans are processed to make chocolate. Our guide was great and took pictures and videos of us! 10/10 experience and would totally do it again the next time I visit!
